Me Naam Naan

Meh. The food is okay to mediocre, depending on the dish. The staff are very unpleasant. It felt like patrons are putting them out just by ordering food.

This is a pretty small place. Went there for dinner with 2 friends after our disappointment with skylounge drinks and food.
We ordered 3 dishes to share among each other and gosh! they were delicious. we ordered green curry with beef, chicken with cashewnuts and shrimp with red curry… All plates were cleaned pretty quickly by 3 of us. Definitely a great place to have your dinner. to be repeated!

Kleines Thai-​Restaurant in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, das man bei der Vielzahl an anderen Restaurants übersehen kann. Aber nicht sollte, denn hier gibt es offensichtlich einen guten Koch. Hab mir, wie fast immer, wenn ich thailändisch Essen gehe, ein Chicken-​Curry bestellt. Und endlich hat es mal wieder so geschmeckt, wie ich es auch Thailand kenne. Okay, außer was die Schärfe angeht, da hat man sich schon etwas an die Europäer angepasst. Und endlich waren mal wieder kleine thailändische Auberginen drin, und nicht die billigen und großen. SEHR LECKER!
Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise v.a. für die Qualität des Essens angemessen.

Love this place ! Been there twice and both times the food was excellent.
First time i had the fried tofu, which was amazing.
2^nd time i had the tofu with vegetables and Cashew nuts. best i’ve had so far !
All in all, great place. Very authentic Thai incl. the interior, the staff dressed in Thai style clothes, the great service and the tasty food.
Prices are very reasonable of Amsterdam.
Happt to give them 5 Stars !

4.5 really. Our vegetarian meals were excellent, but the hot vegetable soup won my heart; if I had just gotten a big bowl of it and nothing else, I would have been very satisfied.

Me Naam Naan is located in the center of Amsterdam on Koningsstraat, which is walking distance from everything. It is a small and authenticate Thai restaurant with a lot of spice. It’s one of my favorite Thai restaurant because of the food, service and décor. Me Naam Naan truly has a Thai ambiance. The waiters are dressed in complete traditional clothing. I am so addicted to Thai food that you would think I am part Thai or a connoisseur for Thai food.
I love Me Naam Naan for many reasons, but the number one reason it brings back memories of my first date with my Dutchman. It’s definitely an ideal place for a date. The difficult part in a date is always finding a place where the volume of noise is not too high, so you can hear what the person is saying across the table from you. This restaurant is very much a good place for a date. Provides an intimate and cozy atmosphere with nice lighting. This restaurant is right up there with the best, which speaks volume on the quality of the restaurant. Make sure that you make reservations because the seats are limited.
