I’ve only tried their salad bar, which is fine. They have nice olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and some salad dressing but I think that’s about it for dressing. The space is nice and most people who work there are really friendly and helpful, which is a huge plus. They actually have 2 cash registers open during lunchtime, too. So as far as services goes it’s pretty impressive for Amsterdam. Popular place with office folks on their lunch break.

Very very good. Excellent wine selections and delicious meal. 3 hours. Fried mackerel appetizer, amazing. Slow-cooked veal. Off the beaten track. Well worth it.

Mmmmm… not convinced 100% but it deserve at least 4 stars for the service and the space. The dining area is the gound floor of a new building in the docks area, with nice windows over the eye canal facing Java island… very nice. The look is supposed to be warehouse but the building is not an old one. Food is good, well prepared with quite a lot of attention to details. Not really Italian, more Dutch/Italian fusion but still very good… a bit heavy. I was there for restaurant week, the 4 courses menu was actually a bit too much. Good starter of Italian cold cuts and cheeses with olives, nice risotto with smoked beats as first dish and very good roasted duck as main course… even if the meat was a bit too dry. The tiramisu dessert was well done but definitely an heavy brick to close the dinner… well. I knew about it :) Ample wine list with pricey to average wines. For the price, I would expect a bit more than bare tables… maybe a small paper cloth or a real cloth. We had been changed silverware and glasses often, good service. The waitress and waiters are all smiley and very nice /useful. It is quite a noisy place due to the bare concrete walls.
