Ok. Let’s start here. I’m Italian, Spanish, French with a mother that is 100% Italian that loves to cook homemade Italian food at home and yes I mean even the pasta is made from scratch so I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to Italian cuisine. We walked in for lunch after passing by this place numerous times seeing it packed in the evenings for dinner. We wanted a diet break and opted to dive into Italian for a much needed treat. It was nearly empty when we arrived at an odd in between hour(4pm–«16:00») for a late lunch early dinner. Loud Italian music filled the air. The place was cozy and warm with sunset filling the room. The banter and laughs of the chef and staff in Italian poured into the dining area and we were brought menus that looked so yummy I had a hard time choosing. All the pastas looked amazing(I will be going back to try a few more) we were served up a bruschetta like starter to pick on while trying to decide.(Based on the fresh bread served right there with the starter I can tell you the pizzas are probably insane!) We were offered a prosecco wine while we debate our selection from the menu. After careful consideration I choose to go with the unusual as opposed to the norm. We ordered as appetizer, mushrooms grilled in white wine and a mixed salad. We choose to mix the two together and made a fantastic dish out of this and along came more warm out of the oven bread(pizza dough) to enjoy with our creation. For entrée I choose a penne with bacon and shredded zucchini in a saffron sauce., perfectly Al Dente. And my man choose a fusilli pasta with grilled eggplant, peppers and mozzarella. Delicious. I ate all of mine and half of his. After several refills of Prosecco and red wine we decided to continue on with dessert. We took both the tiramisu and the«chocolate soufflé» now… Let me explain. This«chocolate soufflé» came out like a warm brownie filled with a liquid chocolate center. With strawberries on top and crumbled biscotti! WATLEKKER! We polished both desserts off with a lovely moscato wine and almost had to roll ourselves home. We will be back for more Homey, cozy, warm and friendly with great service! But mind your cameras… At one point the chef scolded me «Stop taking pictures of the food and eat it!» Lol I love this place!

The worst Italian food I ever had! My boyfriend and I live in the area and we decided to dining out. As Ron Blauw doesn’t have available seats so we walked in this one. The spaghetti with garlic, red pepper and olive oil tastes so light that I have to put extra salt, but still doesn’t help much. The grilled gambas is not fresh at all! If the waitress doesn’t offer cheese on my plate, I even don’t know how to finish it. I had same spaghetti in an Italian resturant in Eindhoven before, it was much better than I had it today. PS:we paid 20 euro for a bad cooked about 50 gram tiny piece of beef! I give one star extra only for the reasonable service! That’s it!

The owner and his staff will treat you like family. For go the menu and just let them treat you to the idyllic Italian meal. We kicked off the meal with a Cerulli Spinozzi Montepulciano. Then we received an antipasto of cured meats, caprese, and roasted veggies. Then they fixed 8 different pastas for everyone to share family style. Absolutely perfecto.
