Great Neopolitan style Pizza. Their idea approach to not cooking certain ingredients is awesome!!! I am a bit of a pizza snob. This one met my high standards gads down. Beautiful wait staff too.

Best pizza in Amsterdam! My fiancé who is Italian and had a fair share of pizza experiences agrees. Even though the place is relatively small, we always start out at the bar with a drink and place an order, then are offered a table as soon as ones available. The bar is not the comfiest, but we don’t mind because the pizza is so delicious! 5 stars.

We decided to give De Pizzabakker’s a try after our hotel recommending them for a bite to eat. It was our first evening so didn’t fancy a trip into Dam so went here as it is located a few doors down from our hotel. So glad that we did! The pizza was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. The portion size was big, but I couldn’t resist their panacotta for dessert. With no regrets! Also, a glass of prosecco is roughly 3 € which is absolutely great! My boyfriend and I live around the Essex/London area and a glass prosecco is never priced below at least £7/£8! Great value for money, and amazing food! Only downside is that they don’t accept cash, which we didn’t prepare for before travelling to Amsterdam. We always exchange our spending money into cash, but will probably exchange half of our holiday money on a prepaid card next time as this seems to be an approach of most places we’ve visited in Amsterdam . Minuscule downside for such a lovely restaurant with a good vibe, great food and friendly staff! :)

Pizza and Prosecco? That’s a great idea! But I actually had pizza and red wine which was also very good. So, basically it’s a casual pizza restaurant with a nice vibe. Definitely date material. Buy a bottle and share a pizza because the dessert list looked yummy… but I was too full to eat it. But I wish I could have! The pizza was very tasty. I ordered the margherita pizza and my only comment on it is that I would have liked more basil. I got three pieces, but I like a little bit on each slice. The crust was thin, but not too thin, and it had the perfect amount of sauce with delicious cheese. I really really liked the atmosphere. As I said, great place for a date, but I went with a friend which was also nice. It’s just a chill spot to eat some good pizza and drink some wine. Service was really nice as well. While I’m not in the neighborhood for this particular restaurant, I would like to go to De Pizzabakkers again.

I love De Pizzabakkers. I’m looking forward to it every time and never got disappointed. The interior is retro-cool, really cozy. Their menu offers just the right amount of starters and pizzas. For as little as € 5 you can get a generous glass of a nice prosecco cocktail like e.g. Hugo. The pizzas are just fantastic! Perfectly thin and crispy plus a rich and tasty covering. The staff is nice and serves you quickly. If you like pizzas you’ll love De Pizzabakkers.

I didn’t end up eating here. It was busy when we walked in, around 7, and very bright out. I saw a mouse running around so I left.

We decided to eat here as we were staying at a nearby hotel and had heard good reviews. The restaurant itself was clean with a lovely atmosphere. Upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation, we didn’t, but we’re given a table and told we had an hour and a half to eats which suited us. This was surprising given we were visiting on a Wednesday night! It is a rather small place so I’d say book to avoid disappointment. Drinks are reasonably priced(bottle of Peroni, € 2.70, glass of red € 3.20). We ordered a starter to share, an assortment of bruschetta, which were all lovely! This arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. Unfortunately, as we were dining rather early, There was only one member of staff working on the floor and so between starters and main course we did wait for plates to be cleared and to be offered more drinks; this was surprising considering it was the restaurant that had limited our time there, they didn’t do much to hurry our service! We ordered two pizzas, the mushroom and sausage pizza and the de noi,(peppers and sausage), unfortunately the pizzas were not quite as good as the starter had been, perhaps just not to our taste but they were nothing special. Over all the service was surprisingly slow but the food was good all-round. It is a reasonably priced restaurant that I’d recommend if you are in the area however I wouldn’t say it is worth traveling far to try!

Having grown up in northeastern USA, I am a bit of a pizza snob. My wife and I had just checked into the Conscious hotel next door(really cool hotel, by the way), and were starving. We walked by, and the place was heaving. There was no chance of getting a table, they were completely booked out, but they were kind enough to let us eat at the bar. Of course I am used to terrible Franconian service, so if a waiter so much as smiles at me, I am already having a good night, but these guys were not only friendly, they were also on the ball. At no time did we want for a drink. The appetizers were lovely, and came out quickly, considering they were slammed. And the pizzas were BADASS. They had a lot of fantastic and creative choices, and did not disappoint. This is not to say they should be mistaken for NY or NJ pizza makers, as by no means are they the like, nor do they claim to be. No. This is Amsterdam pizza. And this is GOOD.

We found this wonderful little pizza place in Amsterdam just steps from our hotel. This wasn’t your ordinary pizza place. Great care and thought goes into the ingredients and preparation of the food here. We actually went twice during our stay. The first time we got an amazing goat cheese salad that was fresh as can be. Seriously one of the best salads I’ve ever had. We also split a pie with hot cappy, cheese, rocket salad and tomato. Amazing how good this ! Wood fired pizza cooked perfectly, just the right size with a super thin crust. The one possible downside is that they don’t accept cash! PIN or credit card only. For a tourist, your bank will likely charge you a 3% fee to use your card in Holland but it really is worth it.
