I would have to agree with the other reviewer that described the food as bland. It’s with the heaviest heart though as the owners are the restaurant are so lovely. The issue is how the Lasagne is prepared, it’s not as you imagine a bubbling pile of pasta sheets nestled between lashings of bechemal sauce and bolognese sauce smothered in melted cheese, but rather it’s a bunch of prebaked sheets of pasta(with a small amount of bechemal) sitting in a warm drawer — like in McDonalds. You then make your selection e.g. I went for bolognese, at which point bolognese sauce from a pot is poured on top. So you end up with a very dry pile of pasta with some bolognese sauce on top. Unfortunately the bolognese sauce wasn’t the greatest either but it was okay. It’s a nice idea, trying to make lasagne fast-foody but there must be a better way of doing it. The pizza they had was a lot better, if you stop by, I recommend having that instead. Can’t fault the service.

When I read the other reviews I think they must have been to a different place. I’ve been to Lazagne some months ago and I actually didn’t plan to come back because already then it’s been disappointing. But then I read the newest review and thought, maybe they just had a bad day, let’s try it again. Unfortunately I just repeated the same experience. The owner is nice and cuts a piece of the chosen lasagne and prepares the take-away box. Although the place is small and cozy with two tables, I barely ever see people sitting there when I pass by. Unfortunately the lasagne was totally overcooked. Both times. The dish had all the same texture. It doesn’t even have a cheese crust. Although the flavour was OK it was no pleasure to eat it. I think the problem is that they prepare the lasagnes in big baking trays and then they keep them warm so they can serve customers right away. Maybe it would help if they prepared them with some minutes less cooking time and saved it to warm up the ordered pieces. I wouldn’t complain if the lasagnas were cheap indeed but at the moment all 3 lasagne choices are € 9 — meat and veggie. I’m sad that I cannot recommend Lazagne although the place looks lovely — I wish I also liked the food.

Really good flavorful and filling lasagnas! Good portioned and unique flavors. I had the pumpkin lasagna and it was really good, my favorite of the 3 that I tried. My sister thought they were very soft and should had included more texture(i’m guessing she means having crunchy ingredients/vegetables in it?). I was more than happy with the lasagnas. I do think they should have freezer lasagnas that people can buy and heat up another night of the week. But maybe that is too American in thought of me and has yet to make it to Europe.
