I was here last Sunday for the Jasmine White Masquarade party. Everything about this club was just awesome. Ok, the booze was free all night for us, that helped, but I would pay for the VIP table on Sunday if it wasn’t for free. The décor was cool, there were plenty of girls, and the music was not bad. I was told before leaving London that this is the best club in Amsterdam, and I wasn’t disappointed. Also noted, last Sunday was the first time in 5 years that I got very very drunk, and lost my new iPhone 6 Plus. But it was all worth it. Will definitely be back again next week when I’ll be in Amsterdam again.

I’ve been here a few times now and in general it’s a pretty good club. Cover is 15 euros. If you’re coming from the U.S. or London you might be surprised by how casually dressed everyone is(lots of people wearing jeans, very few girls wearing heels, etc.). That seems to be true for all clubs here though. It’s kind of refreshing that it’s ok to just dress however you want. The décor is nice and the drinks are tasty. The bartender made some delicious rum cocktails for € 9. There are two levels in the club, although both levels are playing the same music. Everyone is kept on the top level until about midnight or one and then they open up the downstairs, which is where the dance floor is. There’s plenty of space to dance. Music has been mostly mainstream hip-hop that’s similar to what you’d find in an American club. Last night a friend and I tried to request a song but we were told that the DJ can’t do that since it’s a mixtape. I’ll let you make your own judgments about his DJing skills. That being said, I was overall very happy with the music so at least it was a good mixtape.

We had a great time here — décor’s cool and it’s a welcome relief from the stag and batchelotte parties wandering round the streets outside. Commercial music made way for techno at 2am ish. Somewhere to dance now trouw is no more!

What a hell of an experience it was partying at Jimmy Woo. From what I’d heard, this was the place to go. The place where you were guaranteed a rager and the best club experience in Amsterdam. I was also guaranteed that this would be the toughest door ever. That part, thankfully, turned out not to be true.(Apparently being from New York City gets you right in) Once inside, it was turned up until we left at, well whatever time it was. The music was pretty sick, hip hop, lots of euro house music, reggae and top 40. The place was packed and everyone was intent on having the best time ever, which they did. The place is pretty big and I actually didn’t find it too hard to maneuver around and get a drink. They even had good rum! Everything about the experience was pretty awesome. There are a handful of clubs I didn’t get to try, so I can’t say how Jimmy Woo compares to them. But coming from New York City and having been going out there for the better part of 10 years, I can say that Jimmy Woo is right up with some of the best NYC clubs, specifically in meatpacking. Enjoy!

I know this club from long time ago and it was always classy, not the best but mainstream international ok! .but what I´ve seen this weekend was a mess! The average age is 19 and I felt like being on a super sweet 16 birthday party. The music was more screaming in the mic then playing songs, I mean the shootouts were louder than the song it was playing, and every single song was commented by them guys behind the dj! it was like there was a own little party going on behind the dj desk, no feeling for the party crowd no clue and no reaction to the people on the dancefloor– nothing! the dj switched from old school to drum n base and back to new school, house and electro and pop — it was really irritating! won´t come here no-more!

Went there with am entourage of octane fueled friends ready to spend a significant amount of cash on bottle service. At the door we were«not on the list». No amount of negotiating could get us in. I’ve been in some of the best clubs around the world and this place certainly will not do well if it hires hostesses like the one we spoke with. After she got done belittling the fact that I was American, she told us to go across the street to an obviously closed Indian restaurant. We won’t be back and simply moved on down the line to the other amazing clubs of Amsterdam. A word of advice to Jimmy — don’t hire self-inflated trust fund hipsters it work your door.

I’m not really into clubs but I had a good time here. It’s unpretentious, at least compared to clubs in NYC. The crowd was pretty, except for myself. I’m not sure why they let me in. The lights over the dance floor — I think I read somewhere that there’s 12,000 of them — are dope and keep the room from feeling too cramped. They were playing a lot of house and trance the night I was there, which isn’t really my thing. I preferred the more mainstream/hip-hop in the lounge upstairs.

One of the best place to dance in Amsterdam… Musics, light effects are great…
