This place has fantastic braised lamb shoulder, decent other food, very good prices and a wonderful location in the Jordaan.
This was a great find! I love braised lamb. As you can see from the pictures, you get a ton of meat, starch and veg when you get the lamb. The owners and staff were always friendly. The location and walk from the Crown Plaza it a beautiful walk. There are always good choices for a drink on the way back to the hotel after dinner. I tried some of the other dishes over time. They were good, but it’s a 4 star place for the lamb. Although tourists do find the restaurant, it really feels like a locals place. I always eat at least one meal here every trip to Amsterdam.
