Ibis Styles Amsterdam Amstel

The rooms are very small but very comfortable. The hotel is just blocks away from the Heineken experience. And just minutes away from the city centre.

The size of the rooms are pretty standard, if not a little bigger than your average room in Amsterdam. This hotel is in a great location right in De Pijp, within easy walking distance to Albert Cuypstraat market. There is a tram that stops just down the street as well if you are coming from Amsterdam Centraal. The showers are very small and there was a gap between the glass shower doors and the floor so water seeped out all over the bathroom floor anytime either one of us showered. The beds were not very comfortable. The pillows felt like they were filled with small cotton balls. They were huge and hard and lumpy. The breakfast is a highlight of staying at this hotel. The eggs are scrambled fresh and the supply is constantly replenished. The front desk staff was great. They hired a taxi to the airport for us on the last day, and on check-​in, he was able to check us in early because the room was cleaned early.
