Great spot in the park to get a good cup of coffee. You can sit outside on a nice day and I love that they have a self-serve water cooler. Also the pastries are delish. I spotted the owners of White Label on the terrace on a nice day this past week, so if the competition is a customer then you know your place is solid ;)

I got to admit that I adore the location, the interior and the outside space. It’s just perfect for a quite sunday with a good cup of coffee. It might have infuenced my opnion about the coffee a bit. I had a flat white here. Technically, probably a perfect little flat white. Though it was too weak. Too little espresso and too much milk. It reminded me a bit too much of a small latte. Really not much more than a three star flat white, but like I said before, I adore the location.

My office just moved to Westerpark and this place was a lifesaver for all of our employees in the week before our coffee machine got set up. But their coffee is so ridiculously good that it spoiled the office machine for me! I still find myself going over there at least once a day to indulge in a flat white or a delicious delicious latte… Point being this is a brilliant coffee place in Amsterdam. One of the best. Really cool staff too, and a location right in westerpark… Unbeatable!

Gotta love a café with decorated walls, long lines, and carafes of free tap water right at the entrance. Because seriously, who doesn’t want to quench their Amsterdam thirst before sipping on some very fine Espresso? I venture here mostly when the Neighborhood market is going on, which means throngs of locals, their kids, and possibly, their touristy friends, all looking to get some really good coffee without breaking the bank. There is usually a long line out the door… in today’s case it took me about 10 minutes before I could even place an order. Oh, and the guy who took the order — total nice guy with a nice smile. The menu is really small — it’s mostly a lot of coffees with some teas for people who like to drink teas at places with names that begin with ‘Espresso’ and some sweet stuff to go with said drinks. The ovens were working overtime, one batch after another in quick succession. Those fresh muffins will keep calling your name until you cave in and eat one. The apple pie actually had smoke erupting out of it, it was so fresh. I dig the espresso here… it’s sort of pricey at € 2 for a small, considering that one is never enough. The taste — oh so good! Did I mention free tap water and easy payment?

The atmosphere is quite nice and I am a fan of westerpark! The coffee was just average in my opinion and I was hoping for much more!

good coffee and good pastries. Friends have told me that it was the best coffee in town, I should not know myself enough, I did not find exceptional … forgive me. :)

I visit the Westergasfabriek park often to do work. Espressofabriek is the perfect place to stop because it offers relatively inexpensive coffees, has plenty of workspace, and has huge windows letting in a lot of natural sunlight. I never feel rushed to leave or as if I’ve been overstaying my welcome because its an establishment that expects you to linger. You can also sit and chat with friends or stare out the window to people watch whatever is going on in the event field because chances are there is something. Not only does it have a fantastic environment, but the cappuccinos and the pastries are amazing! Everything they sell is made by them; handmade pies(always fresh), croissants, coffee. If your looking for a quality cup of coffee/espresso/espresso/tea or a quiet, bright place to hang out come here!

While aimlessly riding my bike around the west end, I stumbled upon Espressofabriek in an old factory building next to Westerpark, similar to Toronto’s Distillery District. What luck, because I had actually stared at Google Maps for longer than I care to admit to find this place and lo and behold, I just rolled up to its patio area by sheer coincidence.(It’s really not that hard to find. It’s next to Ketelhuis.) I got an espresso for sitting at a sunny picnic bench outside while an electronica music festival beeped and buzzed in the park. The espresso was one of the best ones I’ve had in Amsterdam and if I had any space in my stomach, I would have gone for some of the intriguing little pastries they had on display.
