I walked by this café since it opened thinking I need to try it out. Sandwiched between AH and my favorite cheese shop makes the location unfortunate — I usually have a bag of groceries and eating here is an afterthought.
The food is simple but delicious. The atmosphere quaint. The coffee good. And the wifi free. It’s a great place to catch up with an old friend or even a casual networking meeting because it doesn’t get to chaotic and is really wonderfully charming.

A very cozy (and… I have to say it… gezellig) place to have some quick and simple Dutch fare, including uitsmijters, broodjes, boterhammen (sandwiches a non-​Dutch person might actually want to eat), etc. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for people just traveling through Amsterdam (although it is definitely friendly, quick and affordable), but for those living in the area — great option for breakfast or lunch (and I heard they’re going to be open in the evenings soon for borrel/​hapjes too).
