I love De Koffieketel and I think people need to know this place! It is easily overlooked. This place has great food! It is often filled with old people, local typically Amsterdammers and a few British/​Irish people (because I think the lady who owns this place is Irish?). At this place you’ll get a nice cup of coffee, a great sandwich, great fish&chips or a nice meat pie with fries. The ladies are very friendly and this place is just so homey. Why aren’t there any reviews yet?
I love it. It is so uncool that is cool again. And the food is nice and well priced. Really a place to go if you want some comfort food and the menu is HUGE. The interior is cozy and quirky. In the back there is even a garden so with nice weather you can even sit outside. They also sell a some British import products for at home. Come here for breakfast or lunch because I think they close around 18h.
