Came here to have dinner with my friend and while the food is not bad, the service is definitely is. Overall was having a great night until i found out that they don’t accept credit cards as advertised on their site. I called out the owner to sort it out, and he basically told me that either i come here to eat or i come to make problems in broken english. So I went to get money from the atm, paid the bill and left; and won’t be coming back. If you own a restaurant you should understand customer service but this guy obviously has no clue.

Great Saturday night taking over one of the«best kept secret» bars in Amsterdam! The pizza is up there with La Perla and wine selection, while a bit pricey, is incredible. We had 50+ guests for the night and we had the room reserved … this is a must do for anyone looking for an intimate bar in the Jordaan serving wonderful pizza/bruschetta and starters.

From the outside you might think this fancy restaurant is a small café, but once inside you”ll change your mind for sure: it’s a big, nicely decorated restaurant with loads of atmosphere… and the room that you though was a café is actually the waiting room. Yes, it can be very crowded in this former cinema, and they don’t take reservations for groups smaller then 8 persons. But, it’s not too bad waiting at the bar… you’re bound to see some pretty guys and gals waiting with you, and they serve drinks. so you might even enjoy it. The menu focuses on antipasti… but they also have some good pasta’s and pizza’s. It’s a good idea to share some dishes with your friends so you can taste a lot. The food is pretty good, but not spectacular. Good enough though for a nice evening out… and that’s the reason why you should go here in the first place. The food is not cheap but you can choose less expensive stuff and still have a good meal. The crowd is young, has money, and looks good and all the waiters and chefs are Italian and act like it, so don’t expect to have very good service. It’s all part of the act though… Enjoy! Oh and don’t forget the Sgroppino, they are known for having one of the best in Amsterdam.(A sgroppino is made by whipping together Italian Prosecco, lemon sorbet and vodka and is really delicious!)
