We were looking for some quality authentic Dutch cheese in Amsterdam, so when we saw this brightly lit, well-​organized store we dove right in. They had samples of all kinds of cheese and the sales people weren’t pushy at all. It was what we would expect from a European cheese boutique. We made the mistake however of assuming that these cheeses, made just 20 minutes from the Centrum according to the man at the register, would be pure and free of additives. Unfortunately after the fact I realised that the two cheeses we bought (Baby Natural 400gr € 7.95 & Baby Old Willing 400gr € 10.95) both contain sodium nitrate and colouring in the form of annatto, so I would not buy from them again.
