Cash only place. They are right across from the fries place and they have a sign outside that says we can eat our fries in their establishment if we order a drink… because it was a chilly day… we did just that. Drinks were cheap! Wine and beer for around € 4 each! It’s a small little place but the lady serving us was super sweet and speaks English pretty well, even offering to help with directions to our next destination. They seem to have really good crepes(aka pancakes) unfortunately, we didn’t try it but it looked delicious!

This café and pub is just across from Vlaams Friteshuis Vleminckx, and they’ll let you bring your fries in if you order a drink. They’ve also got free WiFi. I can’t speak for the food, but they’ve got pancakes and other inexpensive items on offer. My latte was pretty bad, to be honest, so just don’t order coffee and you’re set. The employees are really friendly and even have me a glass to set my fry-cone in. It’s a great little place to regroup and plan your next moves while visiting Amsterdam.

If I could give less than one star, I would. The food is okay. But it is the service that is horrible to make me give this café one star. The employees are very rude and uncalled for. There are MANY more great cafes in Amsterdam to go to that have great service. I’m surprised they haven’t already been shut down because of their horrific service. Plus, the bathroom is gross and TINY
