So cool I could cry beer tears of joy! If you like craft beer and getting away from tourist areas you are going to explode with excitement at this place. You wander down a weird looking street that is full of car garages on an industrial estate and you get to what looks like an abandoned factory of some type. Not much has been done to the place in terms of Turning it into a bar, other than adding some taps, tables, a record player and some fridges. The beer is brewed on site and is so cheap. Green cap was only £1.80 a goblet. It was a pale ale, but did have a Belgium hint to it. It tasted great though. The women serving was very friendly, there was loads of interesting locals to(people) watch, huge roller doors so you could view the world, a friendly dog running about outside, blankets if you get cold and lots of great beer. It’s sort of hard to explain, but it was like drinking home brew in someone’s tiled garage on an industrial estate. Your either gonna love it or hate it. For me it was paradise. And soooooo cheap!

i wish i liked beer because i’m sure it’s good stuff here. my review is based on a wedding i went to that was held here. The location is off the beaten path but not difficult to find. Everything is white, the walls, flooring etc. Maybe it was a butcher before? oh wait… the name! The space is not large but not small either. The staff was very friendly and they did an excellent job(along with the wedding couple) turning it into a beautifully charming wedding reception. There is also plenty of space to pull tables and chairs outside on nice days, which i assume they do because that’s where most of us hung out. in the SUN. Tables are bench like seating and i’m not sure what they offer for food? But… now you know. You can rent out this place for events! You’re welcome :)

Good beer. Like, really good! Weird location — but that’s half the fun. Friendly staff. Answered our questions and I believe we got some nice bread on the house.

Get out here when you can. It’s basically tucked away on a dead end industrial street. The beer is top and the venue is cool with a gezellig seating area. They aren’t open late, so get there during normal hours. Also check for events — we saw a trombone player in one room connected by webcam to a bassoon player in a second room. Super weird but it was funny to experience.

Very good beers and in a fun location. Well maybe fun isn’t the right word, but may be interesting or intriguing. The brewery is located at the end of an alley with nothing else around besides some broke down caravans. The interior has the look of a toliet. I don’t mean that in a bad way and don’t get any ideas of relieving yourself there. The actual toilet is in the back room. It’s just that with everything set and white and white tiles it reminds of such. The entrance has a large warehouse like rollup door which was very inviting during the nice day. I’m not sure though if they close this when it’s cold or raining outside. Now on to the beers. The Green Cap was a nice Pilsner type of beer. They call it a golden ale because it’s not as light as maybe a typical German pills, but this was still light but with a bit more flavor The Night Cap is a pale ale, but it’s not the overly bitter pale ales that I’m used to. Very easy drinking. The Misery King was an amber ale which was smooth and just slightly spicy. Worth a try if you like amber ale. There was also an abbey ale there which I was not much of a fan of. I will have to update my review when I go back to try the rest of them. One of my complaints was that they had no beers on tap that day and some of the beers were just out of stock. Good news for the business I guess, but bad news for the consumer.

Go for the beer. Enjoy the venue — quite different from other spots in the ‘hood. But promise me you’ll listen to the story about the brewery and its owners. It’s worth the visit.
