Gorgeous little local restaurant. Service is great. You feel like you are family here. I had the special sea bass and side salad that I am again craving the next day. Very special place to have dinner in Amsterdam.

Definitely good. I had the duck breast (special) and my wife had a giant side salad and broccoli soup. My wife like the soup, but was raving about the salad. I really enjoyed my duck and loved the frites. Twice fried to crispy perfection. Dessert was good too, 3 yogurt ice creams.

Loved it here! Service wonderful, best steak I’ve had in so long. Had a great table watching the chef prepare our wonderful meals. A must when in Amsterdam.

Though for some reason I don’t recall exactly which items I ordered, I do remember that this place is amazing. It was fun to watch the chef at work, and the dining room has a great atmosphere. I miss Amsterdam!

Had read several positive reviews and decided to check the place out. It was awesome experience. I made two visits during my stay. The food, atmosphere, and service were well worth the cost. If you visit makes sure you try the homemade house Lemon liqueur. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Seriously the best stake ever!!! First time to this location, slightly different menu but still very good. If u go to their other location on lindengracht, the steak with the blue cheese sauce is to die for. Service is impeccable!

Three of us wandered in for dinner a week ago. It was mid-​week (Tuesday). The service was excellent, as was the food. The venison special was fabulous, as was the duck. Their toffee pudding dessert is fabulous. The manager (owner’s daughter) was working the floor. I made a reservation and it proved to be necessary as the evening wore on.

This authentic Dutch food was delicious and portions were more than adequate. The soup du jour was mustard. Try to save room for dessert, namely, the sticky toffee «pie» which was much more like cake. Loved the personal attention from both the owner/​waiter and the chef! Also, if you like an after dinner drink, try the homemade limonecello.
