Where to go for fast and tasty Turkish food? Here apparently as it was filled to the brim with other hungry guests. Shortly after sitting down and ordering, the waiter drops off a basket of bread with three different dipping sauces, one hot and spicy, a garlicky yoghurt and a Turkish style salsa and we try desperately not to overdo it on the bread before the really really good stuff arrives! I spy the waiter rushing back and forth with a frothy white drink that a bunch of other tables order and curiosity gets the better of me so I order one of those too, turns out to be a savoury yoghurt drink which is odd at first but actually really delicious! The mains we order arrive, lamb kofta sandwiched in fresh toasted Turkish bread, and beef kebab with frites and salad and they are both incredible. Now this where I go to town with the sauces they first brought to the table, as their lamb kofta sandwich whilst already absolutely delicious is made even more so with these sauces! And of course, there’s always room for dessert which was made up of baklava and mint tea, both also delicious. Dinner here was simple but it was fresh and delicious and service was no fuss and efficient too! Definitely worth a stop in when you’re after a quick tasty meal!
