I come here frequently for their unique selection of healthy products! They have an amazing mango coconut yogurt in a jar… and all the grains I could think of! I’ve gotten black and red quinoa, kamut, spelt… everything here! You can find rice cakes and pastas made out of the healthier grains, which is great. They also have interesting healthy cakes with low sugar and also made out of spelt and other grains. They have the biggest selection of the Green & Black chocolate brand, so I always grab one on the way out. Once they ring me up, I have a little bit of a sticker shock, but I guess I would expect that from an organic store in Amsterdam.

i think this place is one of the best stocked grocery stores for healthy food products. for example. it’s not easy finding almond milk without sugar at any most health food markets. But this place has it. They also have respectfully priced coconut water. The deli/bread section is also very nice. Spelt kaas broodjes are my FAV there. you can ask them to warm it up… hello double yumminess! Instead of going to a handful of different health food markets just come here and you’ll find everything under one roof!

I love the BioMarkt! I go here more than any other Markt. That staff there are all very helpful, the selection is great and the prices are alright.

I am now a new fan of the BioMarkt. It’s a grocery store that specializes in a lot of natural, gluten free and organic foods. I was really impress by this health food store, which had plenty of «Gluten Free foods» on the shelf, so that is a major plus in my book. I stopped in the market to scoop out their gluten free section. I was impressed by what I saw. I was even more grateful to find buckwheat cereal. Hot cereals are comfort foods for the cold season. Winters can be a real downer when you are forbidden to eat oatmeal or most hot cereals because you have Celiac. I have been searching for buckwheat cereal at a few of the Eckoplazas and I have been very unsuccessful within my search or most stores over price it. It’s so nice to know that I can have a hot bowl of cereal for winter now. :)
