amazing, so worth it, some pretty weird clothes for fairly cheap

This shop is actually kind of nice although I’m not a fan. I occasionally walk in here but actually never buy anything. The stuff isn’t crap though(like some other vintage shops) and you can actually find some nice clothes or stuff for your home. Maybe I’m just to much into more ‘trendy’ vintage items like Episode’s stuff.

I remember many many many years ago when I was a wannabe hipster because I love them, chilling in all the –to be– spots out in Greenpoint and Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Oh, crap, I still do but I’m no wannabe hipster, no more. Cool stuff in thrift stores are all the rave because they were cheap and they trumped the price for something in the boutique stores. I haven’t been in one in many years, I go in Bij Ons Vintage on a whim really. The store does not seem tacky, gross or have a smell protruding from the clothes. They actually carry some fashionable items larger department stores would carry, and I got myself what would be a 60dollar Adidas sweater for 15euros. Maybe, I’ll where it a couple times when I wash it and donate it back. This«Vintage» store has these numerous styles of colorful t-shirts and hats up front. They are all clean. There’s shoes, shirts, pants. Yadah Yadah… They have large leather like duffel bags also at a discounted price, some are in pretty good shape. That’s pretty much what I would come look at and interest me: shirts and one of those nice bags. The guys managing the store are very nice and friendly. Every once in a while a customer would come in and browse around.
