The streets facing Centraal Station feature several bad restaurants delusionally calling themselves«steakhouses» or the like. One evening, after a long day of sightseeing, we ducked into several of them hoping for a simple, decent meal at a fair price. We even tried one(which was really a Mexican place) until the combination of an offensive waiter and an inflated menu drove us out. Bellino was our last resort. We were invited in by a friendly waitress who accommodated our requests and presented us the kind of menu we wanted, with a focus on Italian dishes reasonably priced. We tried the fish and chips and the pasta. Both were good enough to change our mood from frustrated to peaceful. The off-beat shipboard décor was an added amusement. Not great dining, but good enough when you’re just hungry and tired.

Pizza was good thin crust. Service was fast and friendly. Would skip the calamari as it was over cooked and over battered. Free wifi also a plus.
