Beatrixpark

Nice park in the South.
I have been here several times for everything from running, a picnic and just a walk. It is a very nice park with something for all. Whether your walking your dog, playing with the kids, walking or running through, or just need to sit and chill by a lake or among the greenery.
Easily accessed and plenty of room to enjoy the day.

the park is lovely in the evening. We were at the children’s pool and after six it was virtually empty. No barbecueing is allowed, an there was only one restroom available, but he, you have all the space you want, which is a huge luxury in Amsterdam in summer! And i saw cute little rabbis when I cycled home

Dog friendly and beautiful park. One of my favorite parks to take my dogs to. there’s a big open grassy field for all dogs all sizes to play in. There are also lovely canals running through the whole park and other little secluded or not so secluded areas to have a picnic in. The tram 5 will take you right by it. If you’re ever there on a sunday you could also park nearby for free :)

This is a great green space to jog, bike, walk and walk your dog. There’s an area in the western section of the park where dogs can roam free. Free to sniff to their hearts content anything that smells like it needs to be smelled like other dogs roaming free. There are bridges over streams, kids areas, paths to walk. It’s a great peaceful place to spend the day chillin’.

What do Amsterdam Parks mean to you? For me it’s a place where I get inspired. Where I reflect on my experiences in Amsterdam and explore more of nature. It’s a therapeutic excursion of self discovery in nature. I really enjoy retreating in the park with a blanket, book, and picnic basket on a sunny day. Parks were formed in Amsterdam to make sure that people in the city had access to some of the most beautiful greenery spaces on earth. Beatrixpark is a place for leisure and pleasure. It’s a nice local park with beautiful lakes and open green spaces. The best way to get there is from Rai Station. Beatrixpark is a hidden treasure, so just walk towards the Rai Congress Centre and behind the canal you will spot the park.
