I’m happy to finally have a bar in the neighborhood that is small and smoke-free. I was really hoping this would be just super duper awesome and I could then become the female version of Norm from Cheers because it was so cozy and lovely. But, it’s just not quite that awesome… yet. It’s small and they serve food. The décor is neat. It’s an okay choice for the night. What it’s missing though, I can’t put my finger on entirely but I have some ideas: 1. Music. This is an underestimated key role in a bar’s vibe. Here, they cut songs partway through(quite often) to skip to another, and it’s so broad that you can’t entirely catch a vibe. So, you’re left feeling a little lost in the vibe. 2. It’s identity. It’s still new and I think it’s struggling with the existential question: «Who Am I?» You can feel it’s not quite anything yet. It’s waiting to become whatever it will be. So, that leaves me with a lukewarm feeling about the place. I will absolutely for-sure’ly return here. Perhaps its lack of vibe is my win as I can carve this place into my own experience kind of spot.

Nice, cosy, well furnished. They lack some choices of Irish Whiskey, but that’s something, which can be easily fixed.
