Amadi Panorama

Nice, spacious room (Double Deluxe) with a Queen Size bed. Felt like memory foam mattress. A bit odd when you’re not used to it, it’s very soft and hard at the same time. My partner had a hard time getting used to it.
A coffee maker with free capsules and tea bags. Minibar with free Heineken beers, refilled every day. You can also take a free coffee/​tea/​biscuits with your friends on the reception story anytime you want, there are couches and tables.
The bathroom is pretty, but the shower is not «closed», so you will put water everywhere. The shower heads are great though. Soap and shampoo, toilet paper, towels, bathrobes, slippers (new), hair dryer… Everything is set and ready.
There is air conditioning, although the heater didn’t work in our room (it worked fine in my friends’ though). The very kind receptionist brought us an extra heating for the night, but even in winter and without heater, the room was at 21 °C so it was okay.
The free Wi-​Fi is fast and easy to connect (just enter the modem password, no «online registration» needed). Great point.
There is a small closet to put your coats and bags in, and a little safe in it to put valuables. A corner couch, a desk and a TV.
Finally, the hotel is close to many stores and coffees and near a tramway station which leads directly to Centraal Station (in about 15 minutes), center of Amsterdam.
It is a great hotel with modern rooms and a classic reception/​hall. I just don’t give 5 stars because of the mattress, the heater and the shower that spills water everywhere. Except that, it was a nice stay, with many free things.

It’s a beautiful and modern hotel with amazing view. 15 min ride on tram 26 to the city center with a tram stop just across the road!
My room is not big, but really comfy, with great bathroom, free minibar and coffee inside the room, and free coffee and tea in the lobby. I would recommend it for sure, great value for money

Wie oft kann man sagen, dass man für sein Geld mehr bekommt als man erwartet?
Hier war das so.
Wir buchten dieses Hotel Last-​Minute (2 Tage vor Anreise), da wir nach einem etwas günstigerem Hotel für unseren Städtetrip nach Amsterdam gesucht haben. Das Amadi Panorama liegt nicht in der Innenstadt von Amsterdam, da würde das Zimemr nämlich min. 100 € mehr kosten. Wir nahmen die etwas weitere Entfernung zum zentrum auf uns, weil wir hofften mit der Tram schon schnell mobil sein zu können. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Von der Autobahnabfahrt aus sind es nur noch 5 Minuten bis zum Hotel. Wir waren gleich überrascht, dass es wirklich auf der «Insel» Ijburg liegt, umgeben von Wasser. Sehr schön.
Da wir uns schon andere Bewertungen bei Trip Advisor angeschaut haben wussten wir, dass das Hotel keinen Parkplatz oder ein Parkhaus hat, es aber in der Nähe eine sehr günstige Tiefgarage gibt (5 €/​Tag).
In der Lobby im 8. Stock angekommen wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und auch direkt auf unser Zimmer gebracht Das machte einen genauso modernen, sauberen und schönen Eindruck wie die Lobby. Die Aussicht war neben dem sehr modernen Badezimmer das I-​Tüpfelchen. Wir konnten direkt aufs Ijmeer schauen.
Der Inhalt der Minibar war umsonst und bestand aus zwei Flaschen Heineken und zwei Dosen Cola light. Wo hat man sowas schon mal? Ich habe es noch nie erlebt, dass solche Getränke kostenlos zur Verfügung standen.
Das zog sich auch in der Lobby fort, dort standen Kaffeespezialitäten, verschiedene hochwertige Tees, Wasser und Cookies zur Verfügung, ebenfalls kostenlos.
So konnten wir ganz gemütlich morgens erstmal einen Tee und Kaffee trinken, bevor wir Frühstück in einem nahegelegenen Café gegessen habe. 14 € waren uns leider doch zu teuer für das Hoteleigene Frühstücksbuffet, daher können wir dazu nichts sagen.
Am zweiten Tag unseres Aufenthalts wurde das Zimemr sehr ordentlich gereinigt, neue Handtücher wurden ebenfalls bereit gelegt.
Eine Tramstation ist keine 5 min Fussweg entfernt und die Tram fährt dort alle 10 Minuten Richtung Centraal Station (Fahrtzeit ca. 13 min).
Wir haben im Amadi Panorma 2 Nächte verbracht und schon entschlossen, dass wir bei unserem nächsten Kurztrip nach Amsterdam wieder hier unterkommen werden.
