This place sucks!
We arrived a bit before 8pm; they had available tables… Sat down and ordered nearly immediately and have been waiting for over 45 min to get our food.
Ordered:
— Thai soup
— appetizer trio
— duck crepes
All from the starter menu. I wonder if they are picking up my order from a nearby Asian restaurant?
Saw another couple waiting for the food and then getting dressed and left.
*Update:
Got my food. It tastes good. So if you are okay with waiting then this place is okay

Stopped here on our first night and we were warmly welcomed by the staff! We opted to sit outside and they kept checking on us to make sure we weren’t too cold. We started with the white asparagus soup and farmhouse deli platter and for the mains mackerel with curry risotto and beetroot and goat cheese ravioli all of the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the meal and the friendly staff, highly recommend it!

One of the best values we have found anywhere. We tried 6 different wines all above average two excellent. The food was unique and interesting which sounds like boring but anything but. The service war prompt and friendly and the ambiance perfect for a personal dinner. Remember that Unilocal cuts high rated reviews unless the place pays. Good places don’t pay :)

We were starving and a hotel staff member recommended them to us. A short walk from our hotel, this place was what we needed. Inside, we were greeted warmly by the staff and sat down quickly. We got our menus right away! I ordered their three sampler plate, I chose the vegetable tempura, smoked salmon tartar and the beef carpaccio, my favorite was the smoked salmon! Too die for! Perfectly portioned and delicious to boot! The kids got mini pizzas, from their kids menu! It filled our stomachs and we were happy. We also received excellent service! I highly recommend this place!

I’m staying in Amsterdam for 2 weeks with a friend, and this is near our apartment. We just stopped in because it looked cute. We’ll go back again before we leave. The owner was running the bar and he was very friendly and joked around with us. The staff was really nice also. We had roasted chicken and while it wasn’t THE MOST DELICIOUS THING I’VE EVER HAD OMG, it was good and hit the spot. Mostly, we liked that it’s a cozy, friendly, local place to get good food and drinks.
