Fantastic hair salon. My daughter and I both had consultations with Kate Pearson and we were very happy with the service and attention we received. We both got exactly what we wanted and left the salon feeling great. We can highly recommend this salon and will definitely be going back.

This review is for Sam Sawyers, the colour specialist from London. I read on another forum that she is an amazing colourist and decided to book an appointment with her for bleaching + toning my almost black hair. She insisted that I go for a consultation, and so I did. During the consultation, she was very snotty and insulting. She refused to colour my hair, and told me that I should consider a more natural colour unless my profession deemed it necessary (I think I understand the connotation here). I would understand if she doesn’t want to colour my hair because it’s not her style, but the insult is very unnecessary. I have since then had consultations with several other hair salons in Amsterdam who have no problem colouring my hair and who do not insult me for wanting to have blonde hair. She might be a good colourist (unfortunately I’ll never find out), but her attitude is very poor and unprofessional. Strongly discourage!
