The WineKitchen

A long restaurant tucked away in the Oudedorp Amstelveen. Mostly for localities. I used to be a fan of this restaurant, but its OK! now, because there are far more better places than this. However, not many in Amstelveen area, besides Aan De Poel.
Although its called WineKitchen, and one would expect they would have a large variety of wines, but they don’t, probably 1 wine from a famous region, and over priced.
They have a fixed menu…1 starter with various options, 1 main course, and a dessert. I love their Duck crème burle which is a cold starter. For main course they have either vegetarian or meat, and their meat is cooked very well. Dessert’s ok. nothing fancy.
I felt its a bit over pricey, but very cozy atmosphere… your clothes would smell like food after you leave the place, since they have an open kitchen!

Great little neighborhood spot! Knowledgeable staff, food is prepared very well. This is a great place to get an honest meal and try some interesting vino.
