Twist is a good place to have a coffee, wine or bite in the sun. Their terrace is at the waterfront, so you can enjoy the bypassing boats and do some people-watching. There is a hint of kitch, surely in the indoor décor. The service was very friendly, though somewhat slow. It took us 20 minutes after sitting down to get someone to take our order. Next to a glass of rose from the South of France, which could have been a bit more chilled for my taste, I also ordered the mini samosas. The samosas come served on a bed of thinly sliced red cabbage, which added a good color aspect and fresh crunchy kick. I thought the samosas were very nice. They had a good consistency and some nice heat. I would have liked a bit more of the minty yoghurt sauce.

Dirty dishes, very very slow service! It’s not indian not Thai, but something like Dutch chef cooking Asian food. We got the Punjabi lamb and Kerala fish and neither of them were good enough to quality for a tasty meal. A bit expensive for the quality. Besides the location I Wundt rate the food very good. A bit disappointed

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our bike ride for a drink. Like the other restaurants in this row, they have a nice outdoor terrace right on the water. There were only one or two tables occupied when we arrived and the waiter was relatively quick to come over by Dutch standards, and same to be said for the drinks arriving. But when we decided to have another one, none of the waitstaff could be found. We decided if we wanted to get anything else done we had better skip the drink and get the bill instead, but the waitstaff still didn’t appear. Finally we were able to signal for the check. Once delivered you’d think the would realize they need to come back to pick it up — again no one to be found. I’m ranting now, but eventually a waitress came to the table next to us. Despite me staring her down with the bill in my hand, despite her making eye contact, she then proceeded to walk away. When I called out to her she turned around, saw me, then continued walking in the opposite direction. We got the attention of the waiter, who then went back inside and printed out another copy of our bill! I nearly lost all my marbles at this point. Needless to say we will sit at another terrace on the next bike ride!

Amazing food! If you are in Ouderkerke you need to stop in. Great service(seemingly a little rare in the area) and fabulous food! You can choose both Indian and Thai dishes, making it very fun. Both are done equally well. The Thai fish cakes were so unlike anything I had ever had, and with the variety of flavors and spices it was a real treat for the palate. I am not a food connoisseur, often going with the«I know what I like» mentality, but this was absolutely unreal compared to other restaurants in either category I have eaten at. Good prices! Not a huge selection of wine or beer, but great for what they had and a lot of both Indian and Thai drinks. There is a lovely ambiance and plenty of room for large groups, or quiet corners for a romantic meal. Sit on the couches for a fun experience! I highly recommend enjoying a meal!(Americans, they take cards without chips!)
