Lange Jan Hotel

My favourite hotel in Amersfoort!
Here you will feel right at home. Situated in the heart of the historic city of Amersfoort, on one of the beautiful squares. What it lacks in luxury, it more than makes up in atmosphere.
The ‘Lange Jan’ (or ‘Long John’) takes its name from the huge medieval tower next door. Easy to find you way home to ;-). It doesn’t have a lobby. Instead, you have to check in at the bar of the friendly pub underneath the hotel.
If you want to explore the beautiful old city of Amersfoort with al its restaurants, shops and museums, and not spent too much time on your hotel room, this is your best value.
The friendly staff will show you all the highlights (also the ‘off the beaten track’ places normally reserved for locals), but in truth you can easily spend a day or two in the immediate vicinity on the square where this hotel is conviently situated.
