In Den Vollen Pot

The interior is very nice situated nicely in the centre of Amersfoort! Not trendy, nor classy, but it has a old fashioned charm to it. If they go a bit further overboard it’ll be like a themed restaurant in Disneyland though… Service was great! Very attentive and I didn’t have to go through hoops to get their attention. Might also be that by now I’m just used to the crappy service in Amsterdam. Food didn’t disappoint either. They have two separate menus. One for the «classics» and one for the «specialties». It’s a but more pricey, but I would definitely recommend the specialties. I had very nicely cooked scallops and veal liver. The side dishes came across a bit cheap, but that didn’t spoil it for me. Especially given that the cheese platter I had afterwards was superb!
