Best sushi train in town. Or so I thought. It’s been at least over a year since I’ve been here last. I remembered last the dishes that were served tasted at least close to the real McCoy.
I was really disappointed today with what was tasted. Each of the dishes had were pretty sub standard. The whelk, and other seafood dishes were not fresh and didn’t give you the tastes of Japan.
Maybe there was a change of chef or ownership but felt it has gone down hill.

Went here for lunch today (Thursday) and I’m so chokka I think I might need a nana nap.
It’s a sushi-​go-​round with a bit of a difference — we sat in a booth which was equipped with our own supply of chopsticks, soya, ginger etc and it felt like our own private showing as the sushi went by on this conveyer. I was very impressed with the sheer variety of dishes and everything was super fresh and delicious.
It wasn’t cheap — $ 81 for three of us — but we each admitted to eating two dishes too many.
We’d definitely go back!

Knife work for the chef here is a joke,. Fish are fresh but the seaweed is soggy.
The table stink of wet towel,.
