Madame JoJo Cuisine

Another great find in Remuera. It is really a deli, not somewhere you go to sit and eat.
They sell gourmet pre-​cooked refrigerated meals. If you work long hours and don’t have time to prepare for dinner, here is the place. They have a different dinner planned out for you each night. Check out the board outside. If you feel like something else, you can always go back to the previous days. Good serving portions. Well seasoned. They claim each meal is enough for one person but it is often enough for 2 people. You can also choose from a variety of salads and sandwiches.
Friendly staff, good service. Definitely worth a visit.

AMAZING cabinet food! Can’t get much better! Pork Belly baguette with slaw delish! Huge selection of salads, meats and anything from risotto cakes to burritos. Sweet selection is good especially there home made marshmallows.
Do a daily menu for take home dinners and also have a freezer full of frozen meals (soups, pies etc.)
Only downside is it’s quite pricey but standard for a delicatessen I think I just find it pricey cause I order 2 much cause as everything looks so good!
Also have just started serving my fav coffee eight thirty.
Only wish they opened before 8.30 so I could visit on my way 2 work!

Great food and coffee as well as service. There is even food in the fridge and freezer to take home and sales to clear them out.

I only discovered this place when I was walking through Remuera the other day, I don’t think you would notice it if you were driving. It’s a beautiful looking places, nestled amongst the Upland Rd shops. To be honest I probably would have walked straight past if my dog hadn’t run in and eaten a piece of lettuce of their floor. Then I took notice of the place and my eyes caught their incredible cabinet full of sweet and savoury delights. I was sold on their pumpkin kumara salad which you can choose in different sizes. I was quite hungry so I chose their medium size which was $ 11.50 which sounded a little steep at first but I got heaps of salad and it was soooo good. I also got one of their fresh coffees. Initially I was going to take-​away but I loved the look of the café so I decided to sit in, they also let me sit by the door so I could watch my dog. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience here I will definitely come here for all my salad cravings. I was also talking to one of their employees about their Christmas hams which sounds delicious and come fully glazed and ready to go, so handy!

I LOVE Madame Jojo’s! The food here is FANTASTIC! Both savoury and sweet! And there are so many things to choose from!
Their carrot cake is sensational! Its so moist and fresh tasting! Matched perfectly with a freshly ground coffee, this is the ultimate combination.
Madame Jojo’s has a very large of savoury items! Their salads always look incredible, but I always find myself going with the lasagna! You can’t bet it! It’s delicious!
The Madame Jojo’s store is very little and occasionally they have a table or two outside on the foot path, but this is more a buy and dash kind of store. They don’t have store parking but there are plenty of street parks on Remuera Road itself of around the corner on the little side streets!
They also make frozen meals here! I have never had one but if they’re anything like their cabinet food it will be exceptional! I totally recommend coming here to pick up some lunch/​slices before heading to a girlfriends house for morning tea.
