If you live in NZ, Karen Walker is pretty much a household name. She’s definitely our most internationally acclaimed designer and with that beautiful designs, high quality fabric and hefty price tags.
KW is known for her bold patterns and beautifully tailored pants and dresses. Each season she has a distinct fabrics that is more often than not easily recognizable KW.
What I like most about her designs is that they don’t go out of fashion. I bought a coat from her about 10 years ago that’s still in great condition and I still wear.
Her Newmarket store is her biggest by far. It’s definitely a shopping destination that’s worth a look even if you’re not in the market to buy.
