Blaze Hair

Blaze is simply the best hair salon in Auckland. I’ve been coming here for 5 years now and won’t go anywhere else. All the staff are well trained, and really listen to what you want done. I always leave happy –which isn’t always the case with other places.
Great selection of magazines to read while you have a wine and a chat.
My favourite part (besides the head massage) is that the price is super reasonable, and you can collect blaze points which gives you money off your next cut.

I’ve made the mistake once of going to a different salon and I went rushing back to Blaze. It’s one of those amazing salons where you don’t feel your being judged by the state your hairs in, and they go the extra mile to protect your hair even if you want to bleach it all off they wont let you.
And just to top it off they don’t charge you an arm and a leg.

I have never had my hair cut here, but have had an up-​do from here as well as a blow wave as part of their Pony Professional side brand. The up do was for my ball and I think I paid around $ 90 for it. To be honest I was a little disappointed with the end result, I had taken in a picture of a messy style up-​do and what I received looked nothing like it, my up-​do was sleek and shiny. The second time I came here was just to get my hair done for a 21^st birthday party. Their pony professional side brand is a really good idea and I was so happy with my hair this time. They have a set menu of styles, all of which are only $ 40 so I chose one of those and it only took around half an hour to complete and it lasted all night. So all up I have had one not so good experience from here and one really good experience. If you want a lovely up do for a special event the set menu at Blaze as part of their Pony Professional brand really is such a good choice and cheap too!
