Viceroy Riviera Maya

This is the place to be for world class service. Exceptional service! We booked a private villa tucked away in the rainforest which included a sun deck, my own private swimming pool, outdoor rain shower, and my own butler. We were greeted with a refreshing drinking then given a tour of the premises and my butler gave us 3 samples of soaps that they sold at the resort. The food was phenomenal as well. The staff was really friendly, and totally worth the money. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a romantic get away on a beautiful rain forest-​like property with world class service then book a stay for at least a week. From the moment you enter the secluded property you are entranced in their magical lure of hospitality and genuine friendliness. We never had to lift a finger, from the beach butler service with Pepe (!!!), Marco and others constantly bringing us everything we could desire before we knew we wanted it, asking us by name, remembering if I wanted the green juice without honey or a tequila mojito, the staff will spoil you and make you want to never leave. The villas are amazingly private with a private plunge pool, hammock, outdoor patio and outdoor shower (we NEVER used the indoor shower). The food was phenomenal — don’t miss out on ordering the caramel French toast to your room. We had breakfast two times a day, the menu was fresh and super delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better recharge-​your-​batteries lay on the beach and have everything brought to you for 8-​days kind of vaca. We will most definitely be back! They will plan your day outings, definitely check out the Mayan Ruins and cenotes! PS the viceroy in Aspen is stellar as well…

This place was really nice and secluded, kind of! The pros are the villa. We got a villa in tucked in the jungle and it was neat. The cool thing is hanging out and having your own pool and back patio. Also the monkeys were a plus. Our bed unfortunately was not comfortable at all.
The resort is private and quaint. They bolster a «no kids» policy, which is nice. But the problem with that is their so called private beach. Less than 50 yards to the south is a Mega Resort all inclusive with every f*cking kid you can imagine yelling and playing at the beach. While on that tangent, the mega resort is like having loud college kid neighbors that don’t stop partying!!! Meaning this! The small beach front restaurant at nite is great, HOWEVER, the neighboring resort is blaring crappy music non stop with a yelling MC!!! So you don’t get the quiet private feel at all! Also, you can hear Sandols MC and music blaring as well.
The drive after you turn in from the highway is sketchy! This place is nice and the staff does a great job and the food is great!

Absolutely incredible. My husband and I looked for months on where to stay in the Rivera, a could not have been HAPPIER that we chose Viceroy. We received world class service, and the staff here were BEYOND friendly, they made you feel right at Home.
When we arrived, we were greeted by OMAR, who was an absolute sweetheart, so professional, and genuinely caring that we had the most amazing stay/​experience. We were greeted with a welcome drink (non alcoholic) that was fresh coconut milk with lemongrass. absolutely outstanding!
Yes this resort is very pricey, but worth every penny. Especially if you are celebrating a honeymoon it anniversary, this is the place to go. it doesn’t get more romantic than this!

Over the top service. Incredible. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten at a resort/​hotel. Menu changes daily to keep you on your toes. It’s not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for and more.
