Great nachos! Try the piña colada and quesadilla. Hard to find the entrance at first we needed to ask. Upstairs view was fun for people watching. Service with a smile.

Must eat here while you’re in Playa! Just got home from Playa and night one we headed straight to La Parilla, but it wasn’t in its usual spot so we asked around and were taken to another restaurant and told they moved and changed the name, skeptical we still gave it a try, but it wasn’t the La Parilla we knew. Super bummed it was gone we still kept asking around throughout the trip and were told they had just moved up the street and were now 2nd story only not right on the street like before. We checked it out, and to our surprise it was THE La Parilla! Finding La Parilla made our trip! My favorites are the table side chicken caeser– so amazing and the Mayan Chicken Fajitas– words can’t describe how good they are! Great Service, Live Mariachi, on 5th Ave, and amazing food!

Great location on the second floor corner for people watching! They always have a mariachi band playing too. While the drinks were great, the tacos were less than decent and the service was really lacking just because we said we were there for drinks and an appetizer.

Good and great service. Seafood platter for two was excellent. One of the best things I ate on my whole trip down was their Ancho Chile stuffed wit a chicken breast. Delicious. The strong drinks helped I think.

Live mariachi band. great food. Amazing drinks = an awesome night spent in Mexico! The cocomango and exotica piña colada– I’ll put it this way … You can’t have just one!!! This restaurant is definitely a must visit!

Location is awesome with a corner spot on 5th avenue. Great for people watching. Food however is average at best. We had a group of ten and everybody thought their dish was just average. Drinks were average too. Pricing is what you would expect for the location and be prepared to tip for«excellent» service. If you don’t know what excellent service is… don’t worry… they will tell you. ;)

If you just want something easy yet festive, La Parrilla will do you well. Located right in the thick of the action on 5th Avenida, complete with a roaming Mariachi band, drinks the size of your head and a menu that boasts something for everyone. Yes, it’s a little touristy but the food is still good, drinks are delicioso and prices are decent. If you’ve got a big group or small kids, this is the spot for you.
