The service is great and the food quite ok. It’s a bit on the touristy side though (which wasn’t to unexpected so close to 5^th Avenue). The spicy halapeño sauce is pretty tasty if you like it spicy!

Great experience. Wide variety of seafood. Manager and staff made us feel welcome. Food was good. Nice outside patio. Worth a stop

Staying at an all inclusive and decided we needed a change of menu. Was recommended this restaurant by the concierge. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The seafood ceviche was awesome. Huge portion and delicious. We also had fish tacos and paella that was very good. Great salsa verde and margaritas. Reasonably priced for all we ate and drank.

This was my favorite restaurant, so far, in playa del Carmen. The atmosphere was festive, the wait staff spoke «just enough» English, but were patient while I practiced my Spanish. The Marlin taco appetizer, and main course paella, were excellent. When I asked them what the local drink «horchata» was they brought me a small glass to taste. I could eat there every day. Excellent seafood restaurant in la playa.

Came to looking for a ceviche de Cameron and found this place that not only was delicious but also very quick. The staff is friendly.

Wow, this place outdid itself. It was a rainy Saturday & we had scoped out the place online already, checked out the menu, figured out how to get there, etc. We got there pretty early for Mexican time but they were open & ready for us. We were the only ones there besides about a dozen staff. Our waiter was very attentive & the food was incredible. My husband had a beer (or 2) & I had a very tasty lemonade & then ordered apps. I had the medium shrimp cocktail (that was huge & full of this sweet & savory cocktail sauce & a ton of juicy shrimp. My husband ordered 3 marlin tacos (thinking they’d be like San Diego street tacos) & they were huge with just marlin cooked in something delicious. For lunch, I had a marlin taco & carb taco & they bring out these 3 sauces; one habanero & not too spicy, one like a Mexican tarter sauce, & this other smokey one. So with each bite, I had a choice. Ben ordered the Pulpo Chamuscado which was this lovely octopus just missing the head blackened with some savory sauce that enhanced the tenderness of the octopus. It was served with this potato dish that was au gratin in flavor. This place is pretty funky with décor & thatched roof, all kinds of beachy décor including a really cook restroom with rust ship’s doors & these sinks where the faucet is a real conch shell. The service was great, the food was great, & it was exactly what we were looking for.

Entrendo Al restaurante es todo haciento en patio cubierto, nosotros ya fuimos de noche Entonces creo que de dia seria un poco incomodo dependiendo donde se sienten.
Eramos 4 y todos pedimos algo differente.
Asi que mi review sera de mi platillo.
Pedi el platillo de camarones empanizados Al coco. Viene como con 8 camarones jumbos en un coco natural lleno de salsa de mango para combinar.
Estubo super delicioso y lo recomiendo totalmente Porque el dia despues fuimos a Otro restaurante y pedi algo similar y la salsa de mango es unica.
Ya pronto regresare a playa y volvere Aqui.

The food here is something! The seafood is fresh, abundent and prepared by expert hands. The tropical shrimp are to die for, I would have never expected to be «wowed» like that; creamy coconut sauce with fresh pineapple, roasted nuts and perfectly done shrimps. I dare you to finish your plate without any help!

Everything we had was delicious!!! They have a large menu selection and the staff is really friendly. We ate there several times because the food and prices were way better than the resort. I highly recommend.
