There are a lot of Korean markets in Zona Rosa, but this one, Koreatown Market, is by far the best. We do a lot of cooking at home and enjoy experimenting with international quisines. So, I’ve spent a lot of time searching through all of the ethnic grocery stores in Zona Rosa, Cuauhtémoc, Roma, Condesa and beyond. I always find myself coming back to Koreatown Market, because they have ingredients and items I simply can’t find elsewhere. They even sell freshly prepared items like pork buns, gyoza, kimchee, and tofu, so you don’t have to use the frozen and preserved versions. In fact, the tofu is made daily, and is so good I will have a hard time if I ever have to go back to using the packaged stuff. The store is not well marked on the outside, but follow the address, look at the photo I posted of the street entrance and prepare to find grocercy items you’ve never seen before in Mexico.
