Emporio Reforma

I have stayed at the Emporio Reforma 3 times since 2008 and each time I have been extremely happy.
The rooms are European sized, I have stayed in the double occupancy and the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is a decent size. If you are on the 3^rd floor or lower, you probably will not have a view of the street but I stay at hotels to sleep.
The service here is second to none. On my last trip my bags did not make it to Mexico City so I had the clothes on my back and nothing else. I asked if they could point me to the nearest pharmacy or 7 – 11 so I could buy some saline solution? The doorman insisted that he would find it for me and he did.
They have FREE WIFI that actually works.
The restaurant offers a pretty decent buffet, they have your classic waffles and hotcakes, eggs, juice etc. but they also offer Mexican plates as well.
If you are going to get a taxi ask the doorman to get one for you, they have some drivers that work exclusively for the hotel and they will not jack up the prices.
The hotel is on la Reforma and is in a great location, it’s safe, very well priced, and very safe.
Highly recommend.

Galería del café has a very slow service. They forget everything you order and have to repeat it again. Employees chatting within themselves.

Está ubicado en una de las mejores zonas de la ciudad, no porque sea una zona elegante sino estratégica, pues está cerca de la Zona Rosa, la Colonia Juárez, La Roma, La Condesa, Chapultepec y el Centro Histórico. El edificio es hermoso por fuera y por dentro, su Galería del Café es un sitio con interiores de madera y cuadros de escenas urbanas al oleo que te harán sentir en alguna cafetería francesa. El café es aromatico y sus cargas son al gusto del visitante. En el restaurante del hotel que se llama Condimento, hay un buffet que por las mañanas complace al gusto más caprichoso. Los salones de eventos los he conocido por las bodas a las que he asistido y considero, han sido las más vistosas y con la mejor comida.
