Only thing better than the food and locale is the staff. Freddy and Iran are good guys who remember my order. Chilquilles verde, no fruit. Clean food and a spotlessly clean restaurant. Go eat.

This restaurants has one of the nicest views in La Ventana.
The service was EXCELLENT. When we arrived we of course wanted to sit up stairs to enjoy the view of the water and the sun setting, but there wasn’t a table big enough for our group. So the waiter said no problem and brought up a table big enough for our group and the chairs to go with it, up and down the stairs he went, WOW!!!
While we were waiting for a few more people to arrive, they brought us chips and salsa and I ordered some guac, all were very good! They have a good variety of food on their menu, from steak to fish to hot dogs, yes that’s right hot dogs! One of my favorite dishes in La Ventana is a hot dog. They wrap it in bacon, then add carne asada on top of that with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream, who could possibly resist. It was pretty good. Most people at the table got fish, they said the fish was good, but the sauces were a bit on the heavy side. The waiter then brought us up small pieces of complimentary flan which was good.
My hot dogs were 90 pesos which equals to about $ 5, the steak and potatoes were 200 pesos, which equals to about $ 11.11, so prices are quite reasonable. Note: It is better to pay at all restaurants with either pesos or credit card, because if you pay with USD they were only giving 15 pesos to the dollar when the current pesos rate is 18 pesos to the dollar.
