Mr. Sancho’s Beach Club

When looking for a fun beach destination our taxi driver recommended Mr. Sancho’s. We were so pleasantly surprised! This place rocks! The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Upon entering we were greeted by our personal waiter Salvador. He was very friendly, attentive & professional. He walked us over to our own personal table with umbrella and showed us where we would be able to pick out our 2 beach lounge chairs. There is a really cute bar with swings all the way around it and it’s also a swim-​up bar. We paid $ 55. per person for the all-​inclusive package. It was all-​you-​can-​eat and drink & included the use of pool & beach. The only add’l charge was for beach towels @ $ 5. each. It was well worth the price. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing! Every time we put down an empty cup, our bartender had another waiting for us! We will definitely recommend Mr. Sancho’s to friends (in fact, already have!) and will be returning in the future!

I had the best time today at Mr. Sancho’s in Cozumel. The all inclusive option is the best. Mr. Sancho’s also provides the best customer service. Their tamarind margarita is a must. The all inclusive option includes a buffet and ordering off the menu; everything I ate was truly wonderful.

We came here for our excursion day in Cozumel. Me. Sanchos treated us right. The waiters brought us food, drinks, food, and more drinks. They were very accommodating. The pool was beautiful – and the bar in the pool was fun. There were a few people that by the end of the day were drunk! They were a bit disruptive and embarrassing. We had fun there though. The beach is nice – plenty of lounge chairs, the water was deliciously blue. I wouldn’t pay for the blow up water play park again. It was too difficult for my kids and teens – not worth the price. Bring your snorkel gear though. The water is not to be missed. I would go back here in a snap. Bring extra cash for tips and lockers though!

Great atmosphere and ALL you can eat and drink. A lot of activities there as well. I would recommend Mr Sanchos when visiting Cozumel. You can literally spend the whole day there.
Cab ride from the arrival port to Mr Sanchos is around 18.00 one way.

Second visit to Mr Sanchos! The weather was less than stellar– raining when we got there but cleared up so the kids could enjoy the beach! Food was good and service was great! Can’t wait to go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. We got the all inclusive. There was a buffet (we could have ordered off the menu but were happy with the buffet) that was delicious. The drinks were very good. I loved all the different choices. The ocean was beautiful. I enjoyed being in the pool with the swim up bar. The pool was clear. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Could not have asked for more. I would def visit again!

Disclaimer: If the weather ever tells you it’s gonna rain in Cozumel, assume it’s mostly a lie. It was forecasted to be 90% of rain when I went, but it only rained for like 5 – 10 minutes at the end, when my friends and I were about to leave.
This is the first time I have ever been in Mexico, and a group of friends and I had a bomb time. Some of my friends made a reservation ahead of time, and a couple others just paid at the door, but it ended up all being $ 55. This was the all inclusive package, which gives access to the beach, the buffet food, the entire menu to order, and open bar (you can also sit at the poolside bar!), minus shots. It’s not exactly cheap, but you can definitely eat your money’s worth there. The beach is hella beautiful and worth the view. The poolside bar also has cute little swings that you can sit on instead of bar stools, or you can actually sit in the pool, which has nice little tables in the water where you can chill. Since I was on a winter cruise, the water wasn’t exactly scorching (doesn’t matter that it’s in the south), but eh, you can always warm up to the water. The wonderfully cabanas are definitely never available LOL. My friends and I raced off the boat to try to get the beach as early as possible, since the cabanas are first come, first serve, but they told us by the time we got there, none were available. So if you want to go for a cabana, you’re in for some serious disappointment. Or if you’re lucky, ecstatic joy. Lucky you.
Our server was Hector, and he was such a wonderful/​funny/​crazy/​friendly server who definitely did a terrific job. He came around fairly often to make sure we were stocked with food and drinks and jokingly told us that he would make sure we were drunk by the time we left (fortunately, did not happen). Food service is average, if anything on the quicker side. Drinks come out much faster, which is excellent. Like many people have mentioned, the Miami Vice is REALLY good. Sweet and refreshing. You can also order drinks not on the menu, like coke and rum, you just have to ask and see if they are able to make it for you at the bar.
Pro tips: Like many people have mentioned, taxi fares are not exactly cheap-​o, but split with friends and you’re golden. They charge $ 17 for a group of 4, but I had a group of 6, which ended up being a $ 34 ride. This is only one-​way, so just be forewarned. If you can, stick in groups of 4 for taxi rides, so that you can cut down on excess costs. Also, if you buy the all-​inclusive package, kayaking is FREE. You do have to pay a $ 10 deposit, but once you give them the paddles and kayak back, that is returned to you. Not exactly thrillingly exciting, but it’s a fun experience. Also, most people are pretty friendly (and really drunk lol) at the beach, but you want to be careful and go ahead and purchase a locker. It’s technically free (I don’t know if it’s free without the all-​inclusive package), but you do have to put down a $ 10 deposit, which like the kayaks, you get back once you return the key. And the lockers are conveniently located by the bathrooms. Try to see what interests you – people (sales-​y people) will come up to you while you’re at the beach trying to sell you their services. Two of my friends went snorkeling, which is pretty pricey at $ 40. But they said that it was really awesome and worth the money. But they went out pretty far and got to see all of the wonderful exotic fish. If you don’t like those weird Mexican candies like Lucas, do NOT order the Mr. Sanchos special marg. O M G maybe some people like it but it was literally the nastiest thing I have ever had to drink, and I have had a lot of Robotussin in my life. The drink has tamarind in it, and oh lord, not my jam. Bring cash instead of card, it’s easier to work with and allows you to be more careful with your money anyway. Last tip – please try to tip your servers well if you are able to. These people have it cut out for them and their families, and most of them work really hard to make sure your time at the beach is enjoyable. Least we can do is not skimp out on their tip :)

We had a wonderful time at Mr. Sancho’s! Salvador was a first class host. There was never a minute that we wanted for food, drinks, information, or help. We had a beach cabana and he was always steps away. We had our young daughter with us and he brought her special drinks and food. Even when we were in the pool, he would stop by and check on us. It was a relaxing and fun day, all around. Highly recommend and ask for Salvador.

We went to Mr. Sanchos during our Carnival cruise in January. There were 7 of us and we were immediately seated at a nice shaded table by the beach and promptly served all sorts of drinks. Roman was a great server and always bringing extra drinks and suggesting new things to try. We did the jet skis which was tons of fun but a bit different riding in the ocean than in a lake. We also got the messages (20 minutes for $ 30) and they were amazing. We all ended up in the pool and Andres always had drinks ready for us. It didn’t feel crowded at all and was an awesome time. A group of girlfriends and I just returned from a Royal Caribbean cruise and I would say the consensus among us is that our stop at Mr. Sancho’s was the best day of our entire trip! For a $ 17 set cab ride from the airport (in under 20 minutes), and $ 55 to access the all-​inclusive side, this was well worth it.
We had previously tried to book the romance package so we could have the cabanas, but those were all sold out. We arrived sometime between 9 and 10 and I was actually worried it would be packed by that point. Imagine our surprise when the place was virtually empty and we had our choice of seats on the beach. Eduardo escorted us to our reserved table where we could keep our beach bags and such while we lounged in the beach chairs. He immediately explained how everything works and asked us for our drink orders.
The entire resort really started filling up around 11 or 12 and actually cleared out by around 3. Throughout the day, Eduardo was constantly checking on us to see if we wanted any food or drinks, which we most willingly obliged. We tried the coconut shrimp, beef nachos, chicken quesadillas, fajitas, fish, shrimp tacos, and chips and guac and EVERYTHING was amazing (save for the fish tacos). One of my friends routinely went to the bar as the drinks were stronger there.
I took advantage of a $ 30 massage for 20 minutes and while it was really enjoyable, I found out after the massage that their credit card machine was broken and they only accepted cash. Not Mr. Sancho’s fault… I believe most of these vendors and services are outsourced.
With wifi (works best at the dining area), drinks, and food all covered, this is well worth your time if you’re stopping in Cozumel on a cruise!

I think the other reviews on here are paid. Beware of this dirty sanchez mr sanchos. Bugs in the umbrella and finger nails in the sand greeted us for the relaxing beach day that was marred by extortionist package sellers who were willing to settle for $ 10 «reservation» fees. Drinks were good but the place was so dirty no buzz was achievable. Avoid at all costs! (But it will cost you if you do… hopefully nothing that needs to be treated by antibiotics.). Only highlight was our waiter he did the best he could under the terrible conditions.

After getting off the Carnival Elation, my family of five found a taxi and adventured to Mr. Sanchos. At the entrance we were asked what we wanted to do and if we had a reservation. Since we did not make a reservation online, the price of the excursions were hiked $ 10.00 over the online price, which was fine. We chose to parasail and did not do the all inclusive resort.
Once we had paid $ 65 per person we headed to our boat. My grandparents had always wanted to parasail so we let them go first. They were up for about 10 minutes. When they were pulled back in it was evident that my grandmother had become sick. They helped her out of her harness and helped clean her off. However, they then told us that the winds were to high and that they could not let the rest of us go up. We were told we would get our money back.
Once we got out of the boat I helped my grandmother to a deck chair on the beach so she could get her bearings. My grandfather, along with my brother and his girlfriend went back to retreive our money. My grandmother is 69 years old and easily susceptible to heat. I asked one of the waiters for some water, with the intention of paying, and he told me since we were on the all inclusive side that he could not serve her, even though I made it clear she was sick. I helped her back down to the public beach and into a chair.
When we arrived back to where my grandfather was I could hear him arguing with the man we had paid. Mr. Sancho’s charged us $ 10 a person for a «boat ride» since we did not get to parasail. In the end my grandfather ended up letting it go and was only refunded $ 55 a piece for the three of us who did not get to parasail.
We stayed on the public beach and ordered some food and drinks after my grandparents left. The food was okay and the salsa was nothing more than pico de gallo. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered coconut ice cream for desert which is the only reason this place has 2 stars instead of one. It was amazing and had real flakes of coconut.
All in all, it was an alright experience, but beware being ripped off.

The location is a 10 minute taxi ride from the cruise terminal ($ 17 one way). Once you get there you can pay cash or credit and then you are set for the day! The food is pretty good and the drinks are decent. The servers are really nice and will bring you drinks right to the water’s edge if you are swimming. The buffet was not good but the menu items were.
If you want a peaceful retreat in Cozumel this is the place to go!

This may be the best day I have ever had at a beach club. When my friend and I arrived at 10 am, we informed that our husbands would be showing up after their fishing expedition. They arrived about 1 and although they were not letting any more people in, they remembered what we had told them and asked if they were Seniors David and David. When our hubbies said they were, they opened the gates and let them in
Salvador attended to our needs all day (we stayed until 5) and could not have been more attentive. The food was awesome, especially the coconut shrimp
My massage with Aracelly was the third I have had on the island this week and was by far the best. Having been in the spa industry as both an owner and a therapist for 15 years, I recognize talent. This girl has it in spades.
We also parasailed and took the wave runners out. It will go down as a perfect day

Cannot say enough good things about this place! We searched a lot of spots for our day in Cozumel and the reviews we read about here sold us… and they were spot on.
We got off our Carnival Elation cruise and walked through the Port to find taxi cabs waiting for us. $ 17 ride to the resort– a quick 10 – 15 minute drive. Very direct.
Upon arrival we told the nice folks we had reservations and we were taken right to beachfront chairs and a table and we were introduced to Elvis (Edgar) our waiter. Elvis is the man! Very friendly, very accommodating and very quick service. As we got comfortable and started to play in the ocean, Elvis would walk to the waterfront and ask us if we wanted another drink… practically brought it to us in the water.
The food… whole cow the food! Shrimp, tacos, guac and chips… couldn’t get enough and everything was available and so SO good. And all of this for $ 55 per person! Folks… this place is awesome!
We booked and paid for a jetski upon arrival and we were given a blue ticket to claim the jetski… and wouldn’t you know I got in the water and kinda ‘lost’ the ticket. I went back to where we checked in and explained my predicament. It was truly my fault… and I certainly hadn’t used the ticket. It only took about 5 minutes and they reissued me another ticket (which I tucked away safely and then used right away). I really appreciate how management handled this… and am sorry I put anyone is this situation.
Go here with confidence. Tip well, as these guys take great care of you. We got to meet Elvis’s buddies Oopma Loompa and the Shocker, and if Elvis was busy, these guys chipped in without as much as a question. The property is well maintained and gorgeous. We will be back.

We chose this as a daily side trip for a cruise that we took to Cozumel. What a great place! All the food and drinks you care to consume for a flat price! Float in the pool, swim in the ocean, lay in a hammock, stroll the shops… whatever you want! Have a few cocktails or even go on a little tequila-​making tour (sales pitch at the end of the tour). Super friendly staff and delicious buffets put this relaxing destination at 5 stars! We’ll be back for sure!

This was my second time here while in port on a cruise. I chose the $ 55 all inclusive. The value just doesn’t get any better. All you can eat, drink, kayak, pools, beach chairs, etc! They have everything! Lockers, hammocks, bathrooms, swings, changing rooms, everything you need for a perfect beach day. The drinks are strong and they’ve got so many to choose from. Antonio was our server and he took care of us very well. The food is SO good. Get the all inclusive cause you can eat from the buffet and a la cart menu! I had beef fajitas, guac, whole fried fish, and salsa. All delicious and authentic! I did pay for a massage which was fabulous. $ 45 for 30 mins. She had me almost asleep on the beach! Don’t waste your time at other places. Go to Sanchos!!! Oh yeah, my first visit here I did the fish foot spa. Little fish come suck all the dead skin off your feet! It tickles but it’s so worth it. My feet were super soft and it was only $ 15!

What can I say? This place is awesome! Sailed on the Navigator of the Seas, and visited Mr. Sanchos on ⁵⁄₁. My mom and I made reservations online prior to sailing to save an extra $ 5 per person. It was just a short $ 16 cab ride from the port. We met another couple at our dinner table, and shared a cab with them. I’ve visited Cozumel several times before, and always went to Playa Mia on an excursion through Royal Caribbean, but it was twice the price, and the food was horrible there.
At Mr Sanchos, for $ 50 you get all the food and drinks you want. The drinks were awesome. The tamarind margarita with the chili salted rim was my favorite. The fried red snapper and fresh guacamole were on point. The food and drinks you get make the $ 50 worth the money. Our server, Elizar (I think that’s his name), was great. We never ran out of anything to eat or drink. He would even look for us while we were swimming in the water to see if we needed anything.
The beach is very clean with plenty of lounge chairs. There is also shopping, massages, and a fish spa available on site.
Mr. Sanchos was the highlight of my entire week. I will definitely be back!

This was my second trip to Cozumel so it was the perfect opportunity to just relax and enjoy the day we had available to us during our port stop on the Carnival Paradise. Mr. Sancho’s was a short 15 minute cab ride from the port and once we arrived, the check in process was expedited by the staff as there were quite a few fellow cruisers who had discovered this place as well. I’d recommend booking your trip through their website before your visit so you can avoid the long line for those who don’t have a booking. To do this they will put a $ 5 hold on whatever payment method you use and then will charge the full amount once you check in. One item to note is that reserving a cabana is something you will need to do beforehand, otherwise it is first come, first serve on any that may remain.
Our group of 11 was easily able to find a spot on the beach with chairs available for all of us. Some of them even in some shade under some palm trees, as we weren’t able to find a vacant cabana. There is free Wi-​Fi also available once you pay for the all inclusive package should you feel the need to check email, Facebook, Unilocal,etc. Our waiter for the day, Jesus, was very attentive and quick. He was there to take our initial orders within minutes of us arriving and stayed with us through our entire day long visit here. Anything we asked for he was quick to get and despite how needy our crew could be, he was always happy to help. The frozen drinks pack a punch and I definitely indulged in one too many Miami Vices while here. The food is pretty decent for the one price you pay in the all inclusive package for food and beverage. If you are looking for a low key place to enjoy one of Cozumel’s finest beaches, you need not look any further!

Having been to Cozumel on several different cruises we were looking for something that would please a wide age group and Mr Sanchos was the choice. We took a cab from the pier and were quickly checked in. You can pay a $ 5 per person deposit ahead of time to guarantee your spot or roll the dice on them not being full when you get there. For $ 5 it was a no brainer for us. Once you pay your balance you get your bracelet if you’re on the All Inclusive program. Once inside they quickly set you up with a table and beach loungers. Your initial host will bring you a round of drinks and some food if you’d like. There is a buffet of food that is available all day. They setup the food in chafing dishes and restock it throughout the day. I personally thought the food was poor. Flavors weren’t impressive and the quality of the chicken wasn’t very good either.
Overall we spent the most time in the pool with the swimup bartenders. They were a hoot and kept the drinks coming all day long. If you like to drink top shelf liquor this is not the place for you. If you drink beer though you’ll be in heaven. Drinks didn’t stop all day long and by 4pm everyone was feeling quite «happy».
I would recommend Sanchos for the younger adult crowd. The older folks in our group were less than impressed and by the look of the crowd around us it was 20’s crowd that was having the best time!

Mr. Sanchos tiene una de las playas más bonitas de Cozumel, es un lugar con una atención increíble.
En este lugar aparte de contar con unas excelente instalaciones, área de alberca, área de todo incluido, algo que sin duda amaras de este lugar es su atención personalizada, a veces en lugares turísticos le dan mucha prioridad a los extranjeros y en algún momento creo que casi todos hemos llegado a sentir como si no eres «guero» no eres prioridad o no te atienden tan bien (también entiendo que los mexicanos apenas estamos agarrando la bonita cultura de la propina ;)) aun así, en este lugar la atención es inigualable.
La comida es riquísima te recomendaría algo en especifico, pero en verdad lo que pidas te encantara, que si los mariscos, que si unos nachos, lo que se te antoje alli lo tienen y con muy buen sazón.
Yo amo en especial este lugar por dos razones, allí hice el bautizo de mi hija y fue la boda del civil de mi hermana, tiene en la parte de adentro un área ajardinada para eventos, sin duda uno de los mejores lugares para realizar una fiesta, tus fotos salen increíbles, la vista es hermosa, cuenta con el servicio de baños y cualquier cosa que te falte inmediatamente esta el restaurante de Mr. Sanchos que siempre tiene la mejor disponibilidad.
De los lugares que no te puedes perder en Cozumel.
