Delicious claypot rice! This stall is one of my favourite stalls in Ming Tien! The claypot rice here is one of the best in town. The secret behind the success of the stall lies in the fresh ingredients used to make the dish. Each claypot is made to order and is served fresh in the claypot. The rice is covered in black sauce and the chicken is well marinated, making mouths water each time a fresh pot is cooked. The ginger in the rice gives it a distinct aroma that makes neighbouring tables wish they had ordered this glorious dish. The best part of it all, is that it costs less than RM7.00 for a pot of heavenly chicken rice.

The claypot rice stall in the Taman Megah Food Court, Ming Tien. They’ve been here for quite some time and I’ve tried their claypot chicken rice a few times as well which has nothing special to it. I usually have it when I don’t know what to eat and just want to get something heavy for dinner. The portion is alright and its decent in terms of taste as well. But not the best and won’t eat here if I had the choice cause there are many other stalls that serves up better food. They even have claypot blackpepper pork rice too! Some variety as well rather than just the usualy claypot chicken rice.

A big NO to this… sorry but NO. My family and I were dinning here yesterday at Ming Tien Food Court. My objective was pretty straightforward and simple, rice. I needed rice for my dinner. So right, I came across this stall and everyone seems to be ordering here. So I thought of giving it a go. Well, It was one of the worst decision EVER!!! One of those days, *sighhh* Anyways, it took them FOREVER for them to come, approximately 45 minutes not to mention their rice was extremely greasy for ‘god knows why?’ and not well-cooked. Their claypot rice taste absolutely disgusting! Yuck! Though their chicken are surprisingly yummy! Taste perfectly– tender and juicy. However, their price are charge pretty decent, not too pricey(RM6.50) but this claypot rice stall are totally not recommended. Sorry but hell NO!
