Once I moved back from Perth, I was looking for a café to hang out at. A close friend of mine brought to Chilla Cup @ Subang Avenue. At first, I wasn’t that impressed, the name was a little bit lame to me. Sorry, haha. Chill-a-cup. To get a cup cold? Oh well. As usual, I would get myself a flat white at my first visit of every café to determine how good are their coffees. Well, I have to bite my tongue, their coffee was decent. And because this was one of the few cafes that I knew then, it became one of my regulars for the first few months since I came back. Also, I do get some of my friends to play board games here. I am glad that the staff did not find us as a disturbance.

So yes my friend brought me here to try out their food. I was quite full since it is after dinner. So I just went for some latté. He always go for the same dessert. It is also their signature dish if Im not mistaken, its the caramel toast. It is really sinful but if you wanna indulge yourself with whipped cream combined with caramel, be my guest! I can tell you that many of the customers here are girls and they do really enjoy that. I gave it one bite and trust me, if you are not a sweet tooth, you should share this dessert with your friends especially the sweet tooth ones. Prices here are reasonable so I might return just for the drinks. As for the desserts probably, I’ll drag a girl along: p

Ah, my next door neighbour. The one I so oftenly visit on the weekend when I have nowhere else to go but still in need of an Affogato. I’m so thankful that there’s a coffee shop within a short walking distance. This place is great in terms of the coffee, the cakes, the toast, the space and a very well air conditioned. It is a great place for meet ups, gatherings and enjoying food while chatting. I always order their Affogato which only cost about rm6.90, that’s cheap for an affogato. Even though it’s little less quantity than the one served outside. Their signature caramel toast is the best in the house. A thick toast bread served with alot of whipped cream with Caramel, darn sinful. Their cheese baked rice is so so though, not very feeling but the taste is not so bad. The chicken burger is not bad, served with fries. Pretzels are also good and every Teusday it’s only rm2 for every beverage you purchase from them. I like it here because it’s well air conditioned from the mall, I come here many times to do my work or just relax and chill here to save electricity at home. Come and try out their Caramel toast, definitely a must try for my recommendation!
