96 Express Restoran

We know that because of GST it’s harder to find a reasonable place to eat good food and save a lot. Well, apparently you still can! This place is known for it’s delicious mixed rice at a very cheap rate. I always come here for lunch and dinner. Although compared to other mixed rice shop around the place, 96 Express restaurant’s food is tastier and they charge quite a cheap rate.
For 2 dishes you can get from rm3−5, for 3 dishes you can get about 4 – 7 ringgit. So reasonable and they give free soup and chinese tea (with ice too), and they are refillable! So thankful that this is near my place, I would always walk over and get myself some mixed rice dish and have dinner. Guaranteed to satisfy your tummy and your wallet!

This place sells very good mixed rice and its also a very famous spot in SS15. Its right next to the famous pork noodles shop. They have huge variety of dishes to choose from (they might just actually have 96 dishes there) and the prices that the owner charges is quite reasonable — about RM6−7 if you take around 3 dishes. The other thing I like about this place is that they offer free soup and chinese tea — which is a big plus for me as I usually drink at least 2 cups of chinese tea every time I eat mixed rice. This already saves me RM0.50 for each cup I drink!
