I have been here many times. There is a swimming pool in this complex. Unlike many other public swimming pools in the Klang Valley, there is an outdoor children pool located beside the adult swimming pool which is indoor. The swimming pool here is worth considering if you are to bring your kid to swim. I would also recommend the squash court here having been playing and training here. The A&W situated beside the complex is a good place to hang-out after sports: D

After a back injury, I needed to get back on track with my exercise but a regular gym was not going to cut it. That’s when i decided to give swimming a try. I was looking for a swimming pool which was indoors so that i could avoid getting sunburnt. I found out about this Sports Complex through a colleague and I immediately decided to give it a try. The sports complex is located at SS13 near the apartments. There’s ample parking and it is Rm1 per entry. This sports complex also has a squash/badminton court and a fully equipped gym. I’m unsure of the charges for the squash/badminton court but the usage of the gym is charged at RM10 per hour. The usage of the swimming pool is RM4.00 for 3 hours(9am-12pm, 2pm-5pm, 6pm-9pm). The pool is very big and it starts at 4 metres deep right up to 7 metres. They also have a kids pool outdoors. Both the pools a re very clean and are well maintained. The only downfall, in my opinion is the smell that you get. I think it due to the water/drainage problem or because the pool is indoors. Apart from that, I think that this is a very suitable sports complex for people of all ages to have a good workout session.

Now, I would like to share some experience regarding the this public sporting complex at Subang Jaya. I went to the swimming pool there and I swear, it was the most horrible experience ever. The entry fee was RM4 and the facility as well as the pool was not worth that much. It turns out you can’t enter the pool at all unless you have a swimming cap on. Seeing that I didn’t have one, I had to buy one and it costs me RM10. Alright! Now I’m ready and set to enter the pool. I showered and everything and jumped in. My first impression. The pool water was dirty and disgusting. If you look at it normally, it seems clean but once you enter it, you can see how dirty it is as you go under water and look through your swimming goggles. As I swam a bit, some of the water got into my mouth and it had a taste. No, it wasn’t chlorine. I’m sure of that. I didn’t know what it was but it tasted sour and bitter. I directly went out of the pool. The shower room was also in bad shape and unclean. If you ever want to0 go swimming, NEVERGOTO3KSUBANGJAYA.
