I’ve only been once here to this pool with my buddy. She brought me there several years ago for an exercise. So as far as I know, this pool is a public pool and rather okay in shape. However, you cannot compare with other more outstanding pools due to having no upgrades done over the years. I was here during the weekdays night time and find it quite relaxing because there is lesser crowd. Also, I prefer to swim when the sun is not out shinning and burning my skin off. I liked this pool is also because of the deepness of the pool and its fine hygiene. The design of the pool also fits those who are training for competition, and those who are training for it should be able to come over here and have some session. Lockers and shower facilities area available as well as parking. Peak hours can be slightly crowded so you should be extra careful with your belongings as some lockers are pretty old and shabby. This place can be slightly quiet during the night so it is highly recommended to go there with a group of friends or your partners. Entrance fees to swim are RM3 per person per entry during weekdays. The entrance fee for weekend is RM4.

Kelana Jaya Municipal Pool is THE public swimming pool I’ve been going ever since I could remember. They are the largest swimming complex in Selangor, and they have 2 outdoor pools. Being one of the oldest public pool in that area, the conditions are not as good as before. However, it’s still a decent place to go for a swim. After all, the next pool that I could think of is at Sunway area — which is a bit too far for me. The entry fees is relatively — RM3 for weekdays and RM4 for weekends. If possible, I wouldn’t advice to go during weekends because you might be fighting a swimming space with the crowd. The pool operates till 9pm, so if you want to avoid getting sunburn you could go for a swim in the late evening. Personally, I would recommend to do so due to safety reasons. The place can get a bit quiet during non-peak hours. The parking space is quite spacious and you would not have too big of a problem looking for parking. If you are staying in a landed property and would like to go for a swim, Kelana Jaya Municipal Pool will be a good option for you.

A well-maintained public swimming pool. Have always been here to swim for leisure. Visitors who come here are usually good and experience in swimming. There are life guards around. The pool goes up to a depth of six-feet in the middle. This is an outdoor pool, you might get sunburn in the late morning and in the afternoon if the sun is hot. It is open to the public at night as well everyday. If you are visiting the swimming pool, you can find one-Ringgit-per-entry car park in front of the main entrance of the swimming pool.
