Sushi Flash is located at the busy street of SS2 square along the same row as KFC. Sushi Flash is a fast food concept restaurant wit the chairs placed around the conveyer belt, and the customers can grab the food they want from there. It’s very common to have a fast-food concept sushi restaurant in Malaysia, but what makes Sushi Flash stand out is the price. Compare to places such as Sushi King or Sakae Sushi, the pricing at Sushi Flash are slightly cheaper but they are serving the same quality. Apart from the sushi, they have udon, ramen and rice set too. You can place your order with the servers and they’ll serve you the food. Overall, Sushi Flash is a good choice if you are looking to have a quick meal or want something light yet not too expensive. However, getting a parking space at SS2 will definitely be your number one challenge.

Sushi flash caters more towards budget foodies as they offer sushi at low prices but don’t expect quality sashimi for that price as this isn’t in the same league as Rakuzen or even Sakae Sushi. A conveyer belt inside the restaurant offers a variety of the usual sushi but there’s also a side menu where you can order extra meals like ramen or rice sets. The salmon teriyaki set which includes rice, salad and green tea at just RM12 sounded like a good deal so I opted for that. Somehow the kitchen forgot my order as I had to wait for more than half an hour and i had to remind the waiters twice about my food. When it finally came, I felt so cheated because the salmon slice that came was so tiny and miserable. Though it only costed me RM12, I could have eaten elsewhere and spent that RM12 on a better meal that was more value for money. That was certainly disappointing. I wouldn’t come to Sushi Flash for sashimi as theirs isn’t excellent quality but this experience had already put me off despite their budget pricing.

Sushi Flash is one of the sushi restaurants you can find at SS2. It is same row with KFC, but almost at the other end. The first thing Sushi Flash attracted me was its logo. It looks so cute. The interior design or Sushi Flash was pretty simple. Dining tables and chairs were placed around the conveyor belt so that patrons can easily pick the sushi rolls they loved. Unless you want to order something special which is not on the conveyor belt such as udon, ramen and more, all food are self-service including green tea. They have various types of sushi. And I also saw sushi roll that I seldom or never see at other sushi store such as hotdog sushi? Sound weird, but yes, I confirmed that was hotdog sushi. Overall, the sushi was above average. I find its fish series sushi was fresh; however, other series like tamago, soft shell crab etc was slight not. Maybe this is because patrons choose the fish one more than the rest. Other than that, Sushi Flash also have sushi set. But I didn’t go for set. The price range is quite cheap. For your information, Sushi Flash offers catering service. You can call them for more information. And they also partnered with FoodPanda. You can order for delivery if you don’t want to leave your home or office.
