Walked by numerous times but never really took notice of this place. I tried the Riz Au Curry and a chamomile tea while my friend had a spaghetti. Food tasted great and we even received advice from the staff on how to get the best out of our food. The place is really big, I would say that it would a pretty decent place for a larger party of diners.

Great ambience, good fusion japanese + italian spaghetti. Tried the Riz Au Curry — cheesy baked rice banjir in Japanese curry with sausages, broccoli, soft boiled egg on top. Attractive food presentation stimulating your taste buds.

Used to be known as Miam Miam, and we always see a long queue outside the restaurant. Now that the name has changed, and they opened more franchises, the queue is lesser and I finally have the chance to dine here :) They are famous for their desserts and they really do look good from pictures! I tried their french toast, which they claim it to be their signature dish and also their house salad. Pretty good! My friend had her lobster seafood pasta and it tasted equally awesome as well. Oh to top that up she ordered a chocolate dessert as well. Very rich and make sure you prepare hell lots of water next to you for it. It’s really pretty heat-y I would say. To some people they might be overratted, but to me I’m all good about it ;) the only thing that I think can be done better is the communication between their waiters. For the same particular issue, I was attended 5 times by 5 different waiters. I was just asking them if I am getting the right dish. So 4 waiters came up to me to explain, including the one that took my order, then the last trip was by the manager. I need a break when I’m eating. Not be interrupted so many times in a row. On another occasion I was there with another bunch of friends and we ordered ice cream. It tastes equally good too. I will definitely come back to them again for more!

Franco was previously known as Miam miam. The wait staff told me that the reason for the name change was that there were a lot of complains by Singaporean tourist as the Miam miam restaurant in Singapore serves pork while Malaysia does not, thus causing alot of confusion amongst customers. I was surprised that there wasn’t a long line at this restaurant as it was during dinner time but I knew 2 desserts that I had to try was the Mini French Toast & Matcha Soufflé. Usually there would be a 1 ½ hour wait time for these dishes when the restaurant is full, but this time we only waited ½ hour. My friend has the Matcha Green Tea Soufflé which looked and tasted really — but she likes anything and everything green tea, so… Franco is a place you’d want to be on a sinful weekend binge, nothing here is diet-friendly and all are laden with sugar BUT it is definitely worth a visit when you’re having those sugar cravings and need to get it satisfied!(we all do)

Formerly known as Miam-Miam, Franco serves French-Japanese fusion food. Known mainly for their desserts like French toast or Soufflé, they also do sell regular food, though only a small selection. The hot food menu consists mainly of curry based foods, though there are still a few options for non curry lovers out there. I can’t remember the name of what i ordered but it’s basically a cheese baked rice Soufflé. The Soufflé had an egg taste and smell that was a bit overwhelming and made me want to gag if I smelt it. It smelt like raw eggs basically. But once i’d gotten past the massive Soufflé part of it, the tomato baked rice at the bottom was lovely. I would recommend this but only if you think you can stand the strong smell of raw eggs. The French Toast though, didn’t disappoint me at all. Served in the form of a Pyramid and in an iron pan to keep them hot. The french toast cubes were crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. They were sweet but not sickly sweet, even though they were soaked in maple syrup. To top it all of was a huge scoop of Vanialla whipped cream. Yes, a perfect scoop of whipped cream on top of it. I thought it was vanilla ice cream until i actually stuck my spoon in.

Franco is a Japanese-French fusion restaurant. I first heard of Franco from my sister when we went to One Utama for a movie with my family. She told me that Franco was one restaurant in One Utama that we had to try, especially the french toast she said. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try this famous french toast. The waiter came over to our table and informed us that it will take an hour for the french toast and we couldn’t afford to wait an hour because we were running late. To be fair to the waiter, we were having lunch on a Sunday — one of any restaurant’s busiest hour. We shared two seafood pasta, one soufflé, and one squid ink risotto. Out of the three, I enjoyed the risotto the best. It has a unique taste to it, although I think the rice’s a little dry. The seafood pasta was just alright, and the soufflé wasn’t much to my liking. We ended our quick lunch with some crème bulee topped with ice-cream. Now the crème bulee was good and everyone at the table left satisfied after having the dessert. Although it prides itself in fine dining, I think it is a far cry from it because the restaurant in One Utama was decorated in a more fun and casual manner.

Franco used to named Miam Miam when it was getting well known, I been there once and their food is so unique and tasty. I ordered french toast with cream since everybody ordered and it seems like its a signature for the restaurant. I wanted to try something new so I ordered their pasta with squid sauce with cherry tomato and squid meat, so its a seafood fusion kind of style, you won’t get used to it so soon at first you eat it because it’s not like a meat sause, its. ink?, my brother ordered caborana with eggs on it. it taste fullfilling I shall say, my mom ordered squid sauce risotto with scrambble egg, same sauce as my pasta the only different is rice and pasta. But I prefer eat it with rice. taste more relevant I shall say. So far the food is good but the cost for all these are way too expensive. So that doesn’t worth it.

Having heard of the fame of their french toast here, i finally made my way here with my friend and forced him to share the toast with me — you can’t possibly finish it on your own! Previously named as miam miam the place have been refurbished and renamed as franco. I’ve tried their squid ink rice and even though it looks like meh i have to say that it tasted really good! Very creamy and tasteful and the squids they use were really fresh too. Only thing is — please remember to wipe your mouth properly after that. Their signature french toast is a huge stack of it served with vanilla cream. I first thought that its vanilla ice cream then only to find out that it’s not. About the toast, hmm. Let me tell you, its so so so fluffy. Its so fluffy I’m gonna die — yea it’s that feeling! Definitely coming back again to try out other things in the menu!

Miam Miam Restaurant introduces a twist to French cuisine for patrons of 1 Utama. Fusing Japanese elements with what would be considered a regular French dish, it’s no wonder that Miam Miam is already on the fast track to becoming a household name. A group of friends and I stopped by for lunch at Miam Miam about a while ago. They didn’t really manage to stand out in terms of interior, but we took little notice in that. I got the spaghetti arrabiata which cost me around RM26. From my point of view, I found my pasta just.okay. It wasn’t necessarily bland, but at the same time I felt that if I had to fork out almost RM30 for a plate of pasta I should have been at least a LITTLE excited about it? However, my iced au lait tasted pretty good! It was only around RM9 which I found to be worth it. Since I was in a pasta mood that day, I haven’t given any of their rice dishes a shot yet. You can bet I’ll be back!

One blissful night, my mother decided to take me to try out this place. Before this, we didn’t have a chance to taste the previous restaurant which was, Petite Millie. As of now, my mother didn’t want this chance to slip away. As it was a Saturday night, we had to queue for a table which took us roughly about 15 minutes or so. Once we got our table, we knew what to order. Despite the restaurant is really packed our food came just after 5 – 10 minutes after we ordered. I gotta admit that was really efficient; however, the spaghetti carbonara I had was a dissappointment. I find the carbonara sauce too diluted and a little tasteless. I had the waiter to try out the dish and he agreed with me Took them another 5 – 10 minutes for my refined carbonara to arrive. Having the waiter standing beside me ready to sprint back into the kitchen to make another one, despite my first reaction on the dish. This time I could say all is well. He was happy, i was happy and i was über impressed with the service here! SCORE4 for Franco!

Today I went Franco which is located at One Utama with my guys. We went there for their signature Matcha beverage but we didn’t try the soufflé bcs we can’t eat anymore. And it was very crowded. My friend tried their Matcha smoothie with a ball of whipped cream. He loves the whipped cream very much. As for me, I’ve tried their Iced Matcha Latte with ice cream is quite nice but i don’t really like latte so maybe I’ll try other next time when i ‘ll be there for another time. We ordered the same food which is the Carbonara. The egg yolk makes the sauce more creamer but personally I don’t really like too creamy carbonara. But it’s kinda good though.

Up and coming soon to be popular café is coming around your area! Its always been so crowded people lining up outside to eat and i never had a chance to eat untill… one day. I personally didnt know what was the restaurant serving i mean the name«Franco» seems French to me but the food wasn’t french food. i was puzzled and confused and that’s when i found out it is a French-Japanese Fine-Casual Dining restaurant. I have eaten before i came here so i didnt order much except the dessert which is a soufflé and a waiter approached me and said that the soufflé didn’t bake well(i guess it didn’t rise) so they are going to re — bake it again. Such a good service letting customer know instead of us asking. She even said can wait for another 15 minutes?. So the soufflé came and it was hot and worth the wait, i would definitely come back and try the pasta but all in all i would say i hope it wont be overrated. In the big shopping mall that is One Utama, there are just too many restaurants and bistros that needs to be tasted, but what really makes Franco one of the more delectable choices for any big foodies is its amazing array of food. As I dipped my mouth into the crevices of a huge orange melting pot that was the borscht shop, I was immediately transported into a world of bliss. Its soup was full of flavor, and packed with decisive precision of how a tomato should taste like. The riz au curry, of course, was the main reason why anyone and everyone should go there; the egg on top greatly intensified the already mild curry of the dish, further creating a layer of creaminess that would blow your mind. Of course, the last of the last would be the matcha soufflé, which served as the sweet note to a very happy meal that I had in Franco. Its light creamy taste was in contrast to the green tea essence that was spread on top of it, thus giving it the taste worthy of remembrance. Go. Go there now. Spread your tired wings and go to Franco today. Spread the mantra. Preach it. Say it.
