I’ve come to this place for lunch quite regularly ever since I started working at TTDI. I usually have their set lunches whenever I come around. My favorite and also a few of my colleagues favorite is the tomyam carbonara spaghetti. The name and the combination itself was weird for me. But after sampling a bite from my colleagues, I was hooked! So for the past few times, I’ve been ordering the same thing! It’s quite filling and most of the time I find myself struggling to finish the last bite! Price wise, Table Talk’s range is like any normal Café. About Rm15++ for the set lunch. Quite expensive for lunch everyday, but whenever there’s someone’s birthday or pay day is just around the corner, this place is the first place I consider.

What I love about TableTalk is that they serve all-day breakfast dishes! Another thing I love about this café is that their dishes are a creative and unique fusion of asian and western cuisines. For example, the prawn soufflé i had added a very interesting Asian touch to soufflé, thats meant to be a western delicacy. Most of the dishes sit in the price range of 20−30RM so expect to pay a bit more than your standard mamak, however I feel that they are worth the price tag for the creative fusion foods you get! I’ve also had their Bacon Carbonara pasta dish which had a very creamy tasty sauce although it could do with more bacon bits :) My friend tried their spaghetti aglio olio with is pasta noodles coated with olive oil — she said it wasn’t too oily and was very flavoursome. One downside though is that the food portions are small, so if you’re a big eater like me, it might not satisfy your tummy. And ordering a second round of main means you’re paying almost 60RM for a meal, which in my opinion is not worth it for café-style dishes. However, overall it is definitely worth trying their food at least once. Service and ambience were both excellent. Mainly staffed by a team of young people in their 20s and early 30s Drinks wise, I had a regular cappucino with no sugar which was nothing great — standard coffee taste I suppose. I’ve been into coffee lately and am still hunting for the perfect place to get really good coffee. Definitely worth visitng TableTalk at least once even if you’re not in the area!

Table Talk is one of those restaurants where you feel like you hit a jackpot by hitting two birds. Reasonably priced as well as a diverse range of food– going from mainly Western to Thai and others of Asian variety. I came here for brunch, luckily for me, they have a breakfast menu that is available from 7.30 am to 11.30 am. You can have the classic Eggs Benedict or even the Roasti Potatoes with Sausages. If you’re into something a little more sweet, you can try out their butter croissant roll or even their fruity cereals. Their breakfasts comes with coffee or tea, and you can add an additional RM3 for a glass of orange juice. All this for under RM15. It is totally worth it. Not only that, it tasted awesome. Their fluffy pancakes is the bomb. Served with fresh fruit, maple syrup and butter. Left out the butter because. butter is just… no. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone in the mood for good ol’ soul food.

This is one of those restaurants where it has reasonable pricing and a wide range of food. Western, thai, chinese you name it. I actually was stunned for abit as I do not know what to order. My friend and I decided to go for the chicken chop. Chicken chop sounds fine but parmesan chicken chop? Now that is weird and something I wanna try! It didnt take for the dish to arrive. Honestly, it taste weird though. I mean the chicken chop is good and so forth but with the combination of cheese is like eating a hamburger splattered with chili and chocolate sauce. Well I was hungry so I finished it up. It got a little nauseating at the end but I managed to hold it in. Honestly, that dish was weird like X files weird!

Table Talk is just one of those places where you will see the menu being spread with the owner’s imagination, and brazenness, for its menu is not really the type of menu you would want to see in a Western-ish restaurant. My favorite would be its Parmesan chicken chop, possibly because I am just a huge fan of chicken. Its taste is decent, but the cheese may have made the taste a little too salty for my own taste. Otherwise, it tasted pretty good, and should be the thing to order whenever you visit Table Talk. If you do not have the mental capacity to ever even set foot into unmarked territory, then skip this café/restaurant, for you will cry your eyes out to the sort of weird menu.

Table Talk is a western restaurant that located at Taman Tun area, nearby Mcdonald, ordered their Parmesan Chicken chop and personally thinks their food are all fresh and nice, especially their service attitude is great, the price for all the food is really good and fresh. they do serve vegetarian food too, for those who don’t eat meat can drop by to this restaurant, I basically love this place because not just the food, the restaurant itself also very nice, the decoration is so festive with color, just that their rest room is not really clean. beside all that is really good :)

Table talk is one of my favorite lunch places back in TTDI. My colleagues and I Will surely visit them every once month unless their menu does not interest us that month. I like their idea of serving different set lunch every month. Like this, people will not get bored of their food. Their set lunch is slightly cheaper than the ala carte dishes and comes with a drink of honey lemon, Ying Yong(coffee and tea mixed or iced lemon tea. One of the unforgettable meals I had in table talk was their Tom yam carbonara. Yes, you heard it right, Tom yam carbonara. It sounded like a weird combination but to my surprise it taste awesome. I must say, whoever created this dish is very innovative. Besides the food, the restaurant is very comfortable to dine in(they are air conditioned!) and the waiter /waitresses is very friendly too.
