Okay so I like the food here. The Anchovy pizzas are made in heaven, awesome Asian selection too. Service is speedy as well. But seriously, you don’t serve water except in bottles? In this day and age of environmental awareness you guys are not doing your part? Sigh. How la? Nov 2015 update. Okay so fast forward one month. I was passing by at 5ish in the evening with my cup of Starbucks when I saw their amazing menu and decided to grab an early dinner. Only to be told no outside food and drinks allowed. Sigh. How la?

Souled Out in Nexus serves some great food in a relaxed al fresco setting. Its a little on the pricey side when it comes to cocktails and they are kind of on the overly sweet side but the food is definitely reasonable, my favorite on the menu being the summertime salad which is a mix of perfectly grilled seafood tossed with greens and mandarins and a moreish dressing — definitely recommend you try it!

This Sold Out is not bad but not one of my faves. The best would still be the Jalan Ampang outlet. However, this Souled Out serves really good food too, my favorite thing to have here would be pasta, never really tried anything else at this outlet. As usual the mojitos here are delicious, although i request for less mint leaves as i don’t like the taste of mint leaves in my drink, feel like im drinking chewing gum. Blehh. Besides that, as usual they layout is very nice and comfy. Honestly Souled Out is a great place to hang with your girls and just catch up on all the gossip. Its comfy and cozy, and they have good drinks and food. They even have some snacks that’ll be great to munch on while enjoying that mojito!

This is a great place to go for a nice happy hour with your friends or coworkers. The food there is really good, much like the other restaurants in the same group such as Tujo and WIP. I actually heard quite a lot about this place but I was resistant to going there because it’s so close to my favorite happy hour place: Eau de Vie. But I ended up giving in and I’m glad I did because it was a nice experience. The place was quite full so the service was a little bit slow but very nice and proactive. They have really good drink menu for a very convenient price. I understand why my friends told me that this was a must do in the area and I agree with them so if you have the chance pay them a visit.

Love the atmosphere and the food here! They have two floors and they both are equally comfortable. The ground floor is mainly for outdoor patrons and the 1st floor is air conditioned, with cushion seating. Waiters are friendly and when you have a birthday celebration, they are the best people to seek help from. They make sure things are arranged as accordingly and will do their best to make the birthday person happy! :) It’s a great place for gatherings and chilly nights. Great food, great drinks and not to forget they play decent music at the restaurant. They also have a special parking area for the customers there, so don’t worry about not being able to find parkings when you are there. Great place for large groups and great family dinner spot!

This is one of the few sport bars from Nexus Mall, from Bangsar South. The bar has a quite great range of drinks and food options for all the tastes. One of the things which I like here is the huge screen which they use to display sport games. I went here only once with my friends to watch the Football League, and I have to say that I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Another amazing and delicious thing about the place is their happy hour with RM10 Mojitos. The great part in regards to the drinks is the fact that these ones are not mixed with water, how many other places are doing it. They actually have great, big mojitos. Besides cocktails they have happy hour also for tine and beer. In case that you are hungry you can order a hot meal. The portions are quite big and the food is good. Nothing extraordinary. The staff is very good, nice and friendly and everything is at a reasonable price. P. S. Open from noon ’til 12-ish weekdays, later on Friday and Saturday

I’ve been contemplating to write about this place for a while now. I was doing my intern at the Sphere, which is right on the other side of the road. Once in a while, some colleagues and I will make our way here for some beer and dinner. The environment here after working hours is amazing. I ordered the Carbonara and was not disappointed at all, I mean, you must have high expections from this place right? It’s the perfect place to chill and relax, have long chats about how bad your day is compared to the other guy and vice versa. The service is certainly good, ensuring you’re in good care. They have promotions on some nights too, be it for drinks or food. Overall, if you’re having a small gathering, an occasion, or just a night out with friends, this is the place for you. Oh, did I mention the entire area is very beautiful when the sun hits the horizon.

I’ve heard about this place a lot before I visited it. I read about it in many KL Expats blogs. All the things were very positive and really raised my expectations. I have to say, their service is brilliant! The waiter made a few jokes and really came every 2 minutes to get my order. ;D I was very satisfied with food. I had seafood pasta and I’ve never had so much sea food in my pasta ever before. It was super good! Definitely try it!:) It costs around 25RM. If you add classic Mojito to it — BAM! Your evening is fulfilled!:) Enjoy!

The first time I’ve been to Souled Out was at Hartamas with my Communication group. I gotta admit the service back then was a little slow but the food covered the damage control. We had a table of 20 including our lecturer, some food came early others came a little late to an interval of 20 minutes. I couldn’t remember what I ordered back then but when I visited the other branch some time back everything changed. Although it has been about 2 years, the service at this branch was so much better. The food on the other hand is still as superb as ever. I gave the fish n chips a try and wow the fish is really good. You can tell by the golden crispy layer covering the soft tender meat inside. For some reason, their fries taste like they baked fried ot instead of deep fried, I could be wrong Anyways, this place deserves a thumbs up from me after my last visit to the other branch!

Oh Souled Out. It is quite literally the landmark of Sri Hartamas, and its food are revered to be some of the best around town. For that, I concur. The menu is huge, as it ranges from your typical overpriced but still tasty Asian cuisines that expands to the veritable steaks and other ethnic dishes that will leave your mouth watering and asking for more. Their dishes are also interchangeable with the various festivals that happens in Malaysia, like a Valentine’s Day menu or a Chinese New Year special. This is pretty much the place for you to go to if you ever have a special partner. Otherwise, you might want to save yourself from spending your money on arguably some of the more overpriced food around town.

Souled Out is part of the Soul Society Group that have previously established Tujo in KL, and WIP in Bangsar Shopping Centre. Currently they have 3 outlets for Souled Out with the Sri Hartamas outlet being their first. They serve a wide variety of food, and by wide I mean huge. Everything from North Indian, to Asian, Thai, Western and more. You’d be surprised to know that most people seem to be coming here for their Indian set meals that come with either rice or Naan bread. Th eplace is hugely popular with expats and tables are hard to come by on weekends during dinner times. For the Chinese New Year period in honour of the Year of The Goat, they actually had a real live white goat greeting customers at the entrance of their Sri Hartamas outlet. Patrons were also treated to a Chinese cultural dance performance and each table was given Mandarin Oranges. Great food, good service and a lively atmosphere with a live band, Souled Out is a great spot to visit.

Newly opened last year, the Souled Out in Bangsar South boasts a large space. Although most of it doesn’t convert into a smoking section till after 6pm but if you’re a smoker, you could smoke at the bar area which is air-conditioned. I arrived at around 4pm, having wrapped a meeting with a client rather early and decided to reward myself with a few pints at the bar while waiting for my friend to finish work at 5 and join me. I struck up a conversation with the bartender whose name escaped me as it was very weird(Sant?Sand?Sang?Saint? I don’t know) but at that moment he was my Saint Heineken which provided me with sacred pints of beer. We spoke about his job and whatnot, he seems to really enjoy working there and confusing people with his weird name. After my friend arrived, rather later, we decided to have an early dinner. He ordered the lamb shank and I ordered another pint because we were told that the portion was very large and boy they weren’t joking. The shank was about a foot long and it was very meaty. The next time you’re there, yes, order that… and a pint from the saint.
