Planning to get super wasted on a budget? Come to Smores. Placed in less ‘happening’ part of Bangsar– Bangsar South; comes one of the, if not THE best place for you to spend the night out drinking with friends. For 3 cocktails or pints of beer, they will only charge you RM50! Variety of drinks is vast and so is their food menu. They are famed for their pork platter and hey, this is not some place that just serves you any average food, their dishes are AMAZING that you will just keep stealing more and more off your friends plate(whoops guilty). Ambiance is great here too just as a hang out spot. Even my Muslim friends who do not drink come here to tag along with us sometimes and they don’t mind and love the place(or us, aww!). However, they used to have couches to lounge on which I felt was better for groups but now they have those tall bar stools and tables which I find extremely uncomfortable to sit on and it is very hard to communicate to a big group as opposed to their previous U-shaped couch. Besides that, they often play good music, have small performances and a huge projector to show the game. Staffs are super friendly, service is fast and there are ample parking spots here at night and rates are cheap too.

Cheap cocktails during happy hour with plenty of alcohol content? I’m sold! S’mores is a great place to hang out with friends as its casual without the loud music so you can actually have a decent conversation. I’m usually there to catch their happy hour promotion which is a darn good deal at RM50 for 3 cocktails or 3 pints of beer. What I liked is that you can also pre purchase this deal in advance before the happy hour ends if you know you are in for some serious drinking that night. Beer towers are also on a buy one free one promotion. And no, if you think the drinks are going to be watered down in return for cheap deals, you’re wrong. The alcohol content is pretty strong in most of their cocktails which makes it even more worth your money! S’mores isn’t just a watering hole as they also serve full fledged meals with pork including their signature pork platter. Tv screens are plastered on the walls showcasing football matches so this is a great place to hang out with friends. Parking is available inside the building and there’s usually ample space at night. Just be sure to be there early to catch the happy hour promotion.

The keywords here are cheap and cheerful. Nothing beats a drink promo like three pints beers or three cocktails for RM55. from 3pm to 1am. We would suggest you to stick with the beers like most of its loyal followers do. It can be a little loud and too much to bear when large groups start flocking in(even on weeknights). If you’re looking to kick back, relax and have just an ice cold beer, steer clear of S’mores.

It was my first time here in S’mores. Never really come to this part of town but one day, my other half decided to catch up with his primary school friend. Not sure of where to go, his friend suggested S’mores because they serve nice western food and alcohols. A nice place to catch up with friends over some delicious food and beers. I’m not much of a drinker so, instead of beer, I had the hot honey lemon. We ordered a pizza and some pastas to share. Well, sharing is caring and that allows us to try different variety of foods. I find that their food was quite delicious. Something that I will come back for more. S’mores is a nice place to hang out with friends. Will definitely come back for more of their food.

S’Mores are well reputed around KL as that one place that does not sell melted marshmallows on a stick, but alcohol and other related dishes and products. Their roasted chicken is their main attraction even if their main product is alcohol. With its tender skin being touched with the heat of the oven, the taste is good, and pretty much beats anything in the menu. You can order cocktails in the afternoon, so there are no complaints on the flexible side of the review. You may also find yourself liking this place even without the alcohol, for its menu is pretty diverse for a place to just get wasted, and of course, one of those places in KL where you can watch sports in peace without letting your wife slap you with morning woes.

S’mores is basically a pub that sells beer and other alcoholic drinks. To a non-drinker like me this may seem like an odd choice but I couldn’t resist their affordable lunch sets. They offer pasta, pizza, salads or mains(with two side dishes you can choose) which come with soup and a drink for less than RM20. The smoked salmon cream pasta was rather good and the salmon felt considerably fresh. The only thing is that after a few bites I felt really full and had to take a break and sip on my iced tea. The mushroom soup tasted mass produced, as if it came from a can but for the price I paid I think the meal was worth it. There was also ice cream in the end as dessert. One has to be prepared for a huge crowd at lunchtime but less during dinner. Also available are various alcoholic drinks like mojitos, tiger beer and Guinness but of course, I abstained as alcohol just doesn’t agree with me most of the time. Plus I had to drive. This is one place that offers great lunch deals, but is not halal as their signature dishes are mainly pork based. Plus of course all the alcohol.

S’Mores is a office worker by day, super hero by night kind of place. It opens its kitchen during the day, serving lunch and other meals, but at night, it turns into a bar, crowded with people who just came off their work. First up, the lunch menu here is quite interesting and on the high end, in my opinion. They’re famous for their Roast Pork which I haven’t got to try(sadly). Instead, I’ve tried the Roasted Chicken and Chicken Parmigiana which were both awesome! The Roasted Chicken was flawlessly cooked drenched generously with tomato sauce. The Chicken Parmigiana was also very good, but not good enough to compete with its roasted buddy. I also gotten the chance to visit the place during the night. Drinks were good, service was nice, and the vibe of the place was very«alive» you could say. If you do plan to visit for lunch, try not to make it way past lunch hour as the kitchen closes then.
